What if you pick up heavy alone, you get a debuff called "BOI WTF WERE U DOING"
What the debuff would do would make it so you can be killed by friendly fire.
So, good idea or bad idea?
Edit: Oh, if you want to come up with a better name for the debuff, comment below! If I laugh I'll put it up here!
Time's Confluence said that he'd say yes if they drop the heavy when you kill them.
YoungD355 said the debuff should be called "Nice heavy you got there, be a shame if something happened to it..."
STORMCALLER_OP said the debuff should be called "Congrats kid, ya played yourself"
PR3DATOR XVI said
I'd say just have Shaxx or Saladin run in and shoulder charge them while yelling "Share!" At which point they effectively turn into an ammo piñata.
Da mang said it should be called "Ya dun fucked up Boi"
DarkLordBacon said it should be called "aura of the faggot

1 ReplyI think Shaxx should just sigh and say, "I'm disappointed in your, Guardian."
-
Sorry, this wouldn't work in practice. There are several reasons for picking up heavy alone, such as having enemies on your radar or having your teammates at the other heavy. Besides, in a game with so many area of effect and tracking abilities, people would betray you without even meaning to.

2 RepliesEdited by DarkLordBacon: 7/4/2016 5:18:02 PMIt should be called "Aura of the faggot."

Edited by mccwrc09: 7/4/2016 4:49:33 PMOr If you take heavy alone, the bottom left of your screen has a pop up saying "The Eyes of Crota have witnessed your greed" You then proceed to be attacked by the Eyes of Crota enemies from the event on earth, in mid crucible match

Remove all heavy ammo Problem solved

A girl is on a salt free diet.
-
6 RepliesI'd hunt my teammate relentlessly.
-
Yeah, but what if it was because I rushed the ennemie's heavy just to make them not be able to use it and all my team got the heavy just fine from the other one? Why would I get that debuff then?
-
Just call it Greed like some suggest, but have the Shaxx/Saladin thing happen. *Guardian picks up heavy solo. Greed debuff becomes active with a 5 second timer, at the end of the 5 secs, if another teammate hasn't gotten heavy as well Shaxx/Saladin appear next to Guardian but instead of Shoulder Charge they give the person the 1-inch punch, the person bursts into confetti and the entire team here's Shaxx/Saladin say something like "Seems you've dropped something Guardian; your sense of teamwork" I'm sure they'd record 2-3 variants.
-
1 ReplyWe can just call it "Greed"
-
Additional: if the guy gets TK'd he then drops bricks of heavy for his teammates to grab.
-
9 RepliesEdited by pio nears bro: 7/4/2016 3:47:34 AMI think instead of it being a pick up radius it should be timed. Once a guardian picks up your teams heavy, you have a small amount of time to run to that location and get your heavy or it disappears. Let's say 10 seconds. Also, if you die on your way there it disappears as well..

1 ReplyWhat about the times a player runs up and steals it from the other team. Now he's the only one picking it up yet he isn't taking it out of impatience or greed. Or the times when a grabs the heavy and the enemy team kills the others before they pick up any. How about in trials when the team splits up and one guy picks up the open heavy while his buddies get the other? There are several instances where one could be the only one picking up heavy, should they all be punished because other players take it for selfish reasons? Unless the punishment can only impact the guilty it's going to cause more problems then fixing an annoyance.

13 RepliesOr you could git gud then git bedder and make your way to the heavy ammo box when the game tellz you to boi.
-
What about we can only open it with 2 gardians in like 5 seconds and in 2,5 with 3 or more gardians
-
4 RepliesOr, instead of all this trying to make it so its ALMOST CERTAIN you'll get heavy and just say "hey, if your teammate takes it then the whole team gets it" I mean really, they keep adjusting things to pander to the person not paying attention, in which case why are they in pvp in the first place.

Good idea
-
Edited by Selenophobia: 7/3/2016 5:21:51 PMNah dude, the player has a pillar of fire above them so every one on the map knows exactly where they are Oh and yeah team killing :) Debuff could say "target practice"
-
Just change the announcement in the kill feed to "WTF? xXidontwaitformyteamXx just took the heavy right in front of his team, what a dick!"
-
Edited by RagingPheonix00: 7/3/2016 8:35:42 PMI would get the lone warrior perk, because my teammates are to damn slow after the first warning drop, it gives me 60 seconds of bullet time where the gaming world slows down and im armed with butthole sticky grenades, I have 60 seconds to charge the map and stick these to every one's( friendly included)ass, then when every thing is done the world resumes every one is launched and I get fireworks and party favors blasted everywhere. plus I get a shiny crown to wear the rest of the game.

1 ReplyOr, how about the duff is "Marked for Stupidity" and they remained marked/hunted on the enemies screen until the team runs out of heavy ammo.
-
5 RepliesNot this stupid heavy thing again. Let it the -blam!- go already. If you didn't get a heavy, move on. It is this endless whining that got heavies to be nerfed to one per game. Now you guys are still whining about. Sheesh. This forum are full crying biatches.
-
Give them half the heavy they would've gotten.
-
The debuff should have a proximity activation to it. If the enemy is near the debuff won't activate.
-
1 ReplyThat is a -blam!-ing great idea! Also this should happen to the dimwits who stand in front of you while your sniping and stay there!
