Personally I would, but my wife said she wouldn't want to. What does she know anyway..
How about you guys?
Live forever or meaningly tiny speck of existence?
If no, why not?
If yes, what would you do?

1 ReplyIt would be interesting to see much tech changes in the next 100+years but as some people have said life would be boring after year 90, I mean I'm 16 and life is already boring. #nightcore_mosterAnFoxnews

1 ReplyYou'd live to see the death and destruction of everything you once knew and loved, so no.
-
1 ReplyWhy would I want to live forever just to see the people I love die? What makes life enjoyable is knowing that you only get a certain amount of time & to make the most of the time you got. I feel like of you were immortal you'd take things for granted & become bored.

If I can choose to die whenever I want.
-
I could just repeatedly jump off of cliffs and do whatever the fuck I want.
-
Would be nice but I really don't feel like being around when the sun burns out haha
-
I want to see how the world advances in the future
-
2 Repliesmaybe i would like to see future technology but then all i do currently is sit around and work so basically what else will i do? at some point ill do everything
-
Only if my significant other becomes immortal as well. And we don't age.
-
I would if there was some tiny loophole that I could use to die if I really worked for it.

1 ReplyEdited by Chief: 6/11/2016 2:11:40 AMI'd take immortality. I'm not one who likes to get too attached to people so I think once I get over my family dying I'd be somewhat okay the rest of the time. Edit: forgot what I would do lol. I would probably devote my whole life to learning and mastering every musical instrument. Probably just music in general too.

Edited by CheckOutThesePythonsDoc: 6/12/2016 5:58:43 PMThis world is going to crap as it is, I can only imagine how bad it's going to get in 100 years... If we don't wipe ourselves out that is. I'm just here to observe the carelessness.

Assuming immortal also translates to eternal youth. Id do it, i wouldnt need food or water or nothing cause immortal, so i mean, Thats cool. and i could get to see the world. Plus we are going to mars soon-ish, Elon Musk has plans to build a city on mars. And start a colony by 2025, so mars here i come. Then evetualy get into seeing other worlds, since you are immortal might as well start amassing wealth, gonna want to buy your own space ship at some point. And eventualy go around the galaxy having fun and just doing stuff. ;) stuff

No because I don't want to fucking live to see a new cancerous dance move or even more 11 year olds dabbing and vaping while discussing their favorite youtubers who do nothing but scream for 15 minutes.

I already am..

1 Reply *puts on a that depends disposition* Can I choose to end my existence?

1 ReplyWithout a second thought I would take it. My biggest concern is that I won't live long enough to see humans become a spacefaring species. Living forever is a small price to pay to sate my curiosity. Well technically its an infinitely large price, but still worth it.
-
5 RepliesAs long as my body is indestructible, and I feel no pain.
-
1 ReplyHell no, after a long time, you would be in depression and searching for a way to kill yourself everyday. No thanks
-
2 RepliesYes as long as I could pick when to die. It would be hard seeing my loved ones fade away from the time line and I'm just moving on un phased
-
Don't get butt hurt.
I wouldn't because I am religious and I would not want to live forever in a world like this.
-
Depends, I don't mind immortality as long as I die and I'm reborn right away with no past memories. But if that is not the case then I'd rather not be immortal. The earth won't be around forever and you'd go mad when you're alone forever unless you stayed on a broken earth long enough and are lucky enough for evolution to reoccur again.
-
Nope. It would eventually become so depressing.

2 RepliesDoes that mean I have to work forever or can I still retire at the age of 60? Because if I can't, I rather just die.
