Doctrine of Passing
The Doctrine of Passing needs to be nerfed into the ground. It requires so little gun skill and it gives a player an instant advantage over anyone else. The nerf really made no difference. Anyone who thinks the Doctrine is good the way it is now I'm sorry but you are wrong.

5 RepliesThe nerf did effect it, you are just mad that you don't have one. There's a noticeable difference. Why don't you try and get one? Or an arminius-D from the gunsmith it's the same archetype [spoiler]also it's very easy to outgun a doctrine [/spoiler]

It's range is overpowered honestly. There are many guns that can win however.

Don't have one yet .. But I'm gonna get one so I hope it doesn't get nerfed .. I don't have an issue with it. I just get envious of the people who have it.. My soulstealer puts in work for now but..doctrine is the one I want. What I'm really trying to say is.. Who wants to help me get one? 9 RepliesThe Doctrine of Passing is a massive "male genitalia/sexual reproduction organ" that currently resides in the rectum of the players who feel that their digital Kill Death Ratio means anything to people who work real jobs, pay bills, and don't live in their parent's basement. If you encounter such a weapon (which you will most certainly die to, 96% of the time), just note that you have been defeated by someone who has copious amounts of "Git Gud" in their bloodstream. Do not make contact with these sickly beings, as just a small exposure to "Git Gud" can result in being addicted to Mountain Dew, Doritos, Red Bull, Adderall, and (what is commonly referred to as) teabagging. The Doctrine of Passing is comparable to a tapeworm, as it devours all sense of human decency, intelligence, and level headedness; replacing them with arrogance, name calling, douche canoe PvP tactics, and the urge to cry for nerfs of anything that kills you... ...unless you use it too. Then, he's just lagging.

Don't cry. It's fair gun. Deadly in close range useless in long range just like last word which can easily destroy doctrine of passing users.

2 RepliesVery fun weapon to use. Auto rifles actually became competitive again and people immediately cry for nerfs. Counter Doctrine by not playing at a range that suits it. Stay back with a pulse rifle, scout, or sniper. If you are going in close, strafe, use Last Word, shotgun, or soften opponent up with a grenade first. Precise Hawkmoon shots can still have as fast or faster time to kill as Doctrine, too. Rather than nerf Doctrine, the other auto rifle fire rate types could be buffed to make them more competitive as well.

5 RepliesNothing in this game requires skill. All guns have their own advantage. Doctrine is good for up close but useless at mid/long range. It's really not hard to counter.. Stop whining, get that sand out of your vagina and just play. All these calls for nerfs need to go. [spoiler]guns have feelings too[/spoiler]

No, it has its optimal range like everything else, if you're losing to the gun at long range then you're doing something wrong.

For people that want balanced pvp i think the division is more ur type. Destiny needs amazing guns to keep the grind alive.

Bungie shouldn't touch those max rate of fire Auto Rifles anymore and in can they do because of you [u]crybabys[/u] the least they should do is 15 damage per headshot otherwise they are considered the worst primarys in the game again. I debate with my self if it needs a nerf. I had it rage deleted it. Reaquired it and think it is very powerful but not op. Fight it at long range or get in close without them realising it with a shotgun

DoP is annoying if you fight it at good range for it. I will say the damage drop off seems to me a little less noticeable than with some other weapons, but it does not need a nerf. You need a buff. Learn to disengage and reengage when you have the advantage. Sticking out a gun fight in which your opponent has the advantage makes about as much sense as trying to raise cows in Antarctica. Why set yourself up for failure? It may take a little bit longer but reposition yourself for the advantage. Occasionally someone with the DoP will get the drop on you and you will die before you escape. This will also happen with Mida, Invective, Righteous VII, and that green hand cannon some little Kinderguardian got as a hand out from the gunsmith. Get used to dying it will happen sometimes. How often is determined by you and whether you decide to play smart or dive point blank in front of a bullet hose.
