Doesn't change that fact that I can land that many shots at sniper range. If that guy doesn't die by then, he sure as hell won't be landing a shot on me anyway.
You seem to think starting your posts with 'Doesn't change the fact that...' in any way makes what you said 'fact'.
Without HCR, Mida does NOT cause snipers to flinch, no matter how much you protest otherwise. If a sniper let's you get off 'six or seven' headshots without managing to get a shot on you in exchange, chances are they are an abysmal sniper.

All guns cause snipers to flinch, unless there are connectivity issues. So I don't know what you are talking about. Plus HC rounds only make people flinch a little more than usual, but is more noticeable in PvE. I've killed many snipers 1v1 simply by peppering them with nerfed MIDA, and I've always came out tops unless there was more than one of them. Note that I tested this in Trials, which is a snipefest.

You know what, fine - believe what you want, there is clearly no point trying to reason with you. Enjoy your negative KD and have fun being as wrong as you like. Good day.

And there we have the KD insult, making you a scrub. Maybe if you actually bother to use a primary weapon, you'd won't get your precious snipers nerfed again.
And there we have the KD insult, making you a scrub. Maybe if you actually bother to use a primary weapon, you'd won't get your precious snipers nerfed again.
Oh look, using the word 'scrub', I guess you must be twelve? How delightfully predictable. As for the KD, I wasn't aware pointing out facts was an insult - YOU brought up nonsense about how you had 'tested' the weapon in Trials to prove your point, I'm merely pointing out someone who dies MORE than they kill is hardly a reliable source of what works and what doesn't work.

I've had my account since day one, and I've spent a good majority of time playing crucible since then. I didn't even knew what KD meant, so I spent a good majority of my time screwing around in crucible with blue weapons while the rest had legendaries and various other exotics. By the time I realized my stats were being tracked, I had a 0.7 kd overall. Now, its a 1.01. So you can take your assumptions and shove it. I don't care if you want to compare KD sizes, what matters to me is that I've certainly improved. Besides, the usual people who bring KD into an argument are usually immature scrubs, and you were the one who brought it up first. Hence, the assumption. But anyway, whether you believe it or not, I don't tend to get sniped when I land rapid consecutive hits on snipers. Funny that.

Wow, no need to get quite so defensive, although it is very revealing that you claim KD observations are only for 'scrubs', then you felt the need to explain/justify (at length) why yours are comparatively low For the record, I was referring to your Trials KD, as I said above, which is indeed negative, which was in reference to YOUR statement about the 'testing' you had claimed to do in ToO You wouldn't happen to have self esteem issues would you? Typically knee jerk, defensive over reactions like yours can be indicative of such, as can your rather nasty tendency to lash out when challenged. Either way, it's possibly best for all concerned if you avoid forum engagements if they are going to stress you out so much.

I'm pretty much on the forums to have fun commenting. Why get mad about some guy trying to make fun of your KD, when its basically one of the major lame comebacks forum users like yourself bring up in arguments? Since you decided to bring it up, my trials KD isn't so great since the Thorn/Fellwinter meta, because I suck with it. But with the new emphasis on sniping, I found I have an easier time to countersnipe with MIDA and a sidearm. Which leads me back to the point, that even with the removal of HC rounds, I was still able to outgun snipers at long range, as long as I constantly peppered them in the head area. In fact, hitting snipers with primaries does throw their aim off when they hit, so I don't know why you say they don't.

Again you seem overly defensive, are you finding it 'fun' to portray yourself in such a way? KD is a good indication as to skill, regardless of what you think - your inability, for example, to adjust to different meta's is telling both in stats, and your excuses for such failure. Thus, I (and others) will assign less weight to your opinion, compared to others who can perform well regardless of the weapons used, because they consistently perform well and therefore know what works and what does not in different situations - the fact that this entire argument has come about because I corrected someone else (who claimed Mida has a particularly high flinch factor, which is no longer does) and you have been getting your knickers more and more twisted as the conversation progressed, leads me to wonder why you insist on trying to fight battles for others, when you apparently do it so badly? Also, if you don't think KD is a fair indicator as to player skill, then I'd be curious to see what you think is?

Now I'm confused. First off, you are the one who brought up my KD. Since you asked, and every scrub I've argued with in crucible pretty much brought up the issue that it was low, I told you why its pretty bad. Crucible is a major part of why I play the game, so I like to remember my experiences in it. I remember sucking during the Thorn/shotgun meta because I didn't like the playstyle that transpired during that period, therefore I sought my own. My KD took a big dip as a result, but once I found my own load out, I gradually improved, and that is what matters to me the most. Not KD, not kills, but experience. Yet, you seem incessant that my opinion still has no validation, just because I don't care about my KD. Furthermore, you think just because I told you the truth, you think I'm being defensive about my KD, and therefore think I'm butthurt. Is that what you think? Because if it is, I'm pretty sure I've told you that I don't care. But shooting someone when they are scoped in will definitely cause scope sway, and therefore will increase the chances of snipers to miss. Maybe it doesn't affect you as much, but it will to other snipers, which is what I'm trying to say. From the last matches I played, I won 6/7 long range engagements against other snipers with just my MIDA, so I would say the MIDA is still an effective tool against snipers.
