I am by no means a bad player, and my team used to go flawless three times a week with minimal trouble. Why was this week so horrible for Trials? Every game was sweaty and ridiculous, is this a common thing now for Trials? The one time we thought we'd go flawless we got shutdown on our last win. I enjoy a challenge as much as the next person but it's just impossible to get a fun game now. Not to mention its MIDA or gtfo. So,any reason it was so bad this weekend that anyone knows of?
EDIT: I was over-exaggerating about MIDA, don't hate for that, it's a fun gun, just particularly annoying to play against. =P
EDIT: Just tried Trials again this week and it was actually really great. Went against 2 teams we had no issues with and the rest were usually 3-5, had two games that were 4-4. Had those challenging games and had some games that just took a little thought. Went flawless and it was fun.
Tldr: Sweating every game isn't fun, but 2-4 sweaty games is all good in my book. Good luck to anyone else running. Not sure if the problem last week was the ELO farmers or map, but it seems to be alright to have some fun in Trials.

1 ReplyTrials is literally the height of competitive destiny pvp. And has been since it debuted. If you go into trials expecting casual play, then you clearly have no idea what you're doing.
-
7 RepliesThe map was just A$$ M8. Every team I fought was camping so my team took control of the objective spawn area and won.

You are complaining because a competitive game mode is competitive

DestinyTrialsReport.com (Check Stats) Season 1 top players fought to get into the Top 100 with their ELOs including myself I was ranked #21 in the world in Trials of Osiris. And then... BAM everyone had their ELO reset. So everyone wanted a chance to break the Top 100 again on reset week. (Season 2) Im currently Top 10 in the world. If you need help going flawless I would love to help. :) Check out my Twitch stream, I do free raffles and carries.

1 ReplyDestiny pvp will always be sweaty. There is no messing around and having fun.

3 RepliesFOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT WAS ALWAYS LIKE THAT.
Sorry about that, ANYWAYS
Trials is Endgame. Trials is like a tournament. The farther you go, the harder it gets. Lose, your out. (Only that's 3 times to be kicked out.) It's meant to be the ultimate PVP challenge of Destiny. EVERYONE hardcore is attempting that flawless run. Everyone wants that fantastic treasure at the top. Everyone loves getting that. (Unless you cheat/lag switch. Then your an ass.) You can't go flawless now. Too bad. Don't go on the forums and act like Trials is terrible and "sweaty" just because YOU can't get what you want. The other team played beat you. Get over it. If they cheated? They can die in a fire.
I don't like cheaters.
1 ReplyI think it's just black shield. Really brings out the camp in everyone.....
-
1 ReplyI think it was the map. Every team we went against was camping in their spawn hard scoping the doorways. Even when they get a pick they just sit there.
-
1 ReplyWhat did you expect? Lmao
-
Welcome to the game

1 ReplyI dont mind the odd sweaty game. But having to sweat Like a pig 7 games in a row. Just can't be bothered anymore.
-
1 ReplyIn the wise words of most angry youngsters on these hate-filled forums, it sounds like you need to "git gud". Just curious, why do you think it's Mida or gtfo? I didn't have an issue with Mida users this weekend, and the lack of insane stagger was very nice as well.

It has always been a sweatfest.

4 RepliesNow? You mean always.

A bunch of noobs are back in rotation. The time to go flawless is now. Sweats are always going to be here and will be more dominant when the people who get bored easily and are only here for the gear are gone. That being said, at least you go flawless. Try sucking goats, like me. Even a non-sweat match is difficult. Haven't been flawless since January. Only been flawless twice ever. I've even won raffles for a carry to the lighthouse. Ask me if they were able to get me there....
they didnt
Don't cry over spilled milk. The grass is greener on your side. It's just dirt over where I'm at....

3 RepliesFace it its just you and the rest of your sodomite friends picking each others buttholes. The new players arent playing as much... deal with it!
-
Since everyone has low elo no 1 carried last week, no 1 needed to drop their average.
-
Yes its sweaty. Not that you are crying but since the update all the big babies have flooded to the forums to complain about flawless. Yeh.. the dudes with like 90days in crucible are back. Chill out a couple weeks and get your flawless later or pray for a good run :)

4 RepliesSo the point of the post is your mad because every game you played was competitive? Your calling people sweats because they didn't roll over and let you kick their ass? Honestly I didn't see very many Midas, yea I saw a handful but the Midas a great trials weapon. I did see weapon variation though. Me and my team went 8-0 then lost 2 straight. I wouldn't call it a bad weekend, I had a lot of fun. Played some tough close games. Just wasn't our weekend. I wouldn't complain about it though
-
You messed up when you thought you where going flawless.
-
1 ReplyYou know, the idea of Trials was to have a place where people could sweat as hard as they wanted. So ya, it's kinda the point of Trials.
-
1 ReplyTrials has been a sweatfest since its release...it hasn't changed a bit lmao.

First week of new emblem that's why , give it a few weeks and it'll be easier.
