Where is the love guys? When did it become more popular to spread hate than love? Why is hate and flaming a better thing than acceptance and understanding on here? Don't get me wrong, I don't want to start a campaign against all cyber bullying, change the internet or even stop all hate. I just want to know why? Internet anonymity seems like a cop out to me. Why use it to show hate those you normally wouldn't, rather than love to those you normally wouldn't? I mean, we're all people, just trying to get through life on this place called Earth. We're really not so different when you think about it.

7 RepliesEdited by PROPHETxOFxDOOM: 4/9/2016 7:22:42 PMWell the love was once a prominent factor in #offtopic, once upon a time in the land of floodtopia we were led by a king, a wise man elder named "Recon Number 54" he led the floodians to greatness. For ages he he shat on anyone whos opinions were not in line with the floodian collective's vision, thus spreading greatness with is anus. but in time the fallen angels known as #bungie became jealous of the floodian god and his righteous rectum, they saw a opinining and they took it. The fallen angels used their dark power of pestilence to deflower the king's righteous love spreading sphincter Recon Number 54 was dethroned and removed from his mantal. Without the floodian overlords love spreading colin all we know is hate... #RememberRecon

It used to exist back during Destiny's release. The swarm of it's community who thought the forums were made just for them and the Destiny stuff they wanted to talk about pushed them out.
-
It died about the same time the forum became #OffTopic.

6 RepliesEdited by tjustie: 4/9/2016 1:42:04 AMLast year some people complained about it being too hugbox like because there were so many popularity threads and selfie threads where people actually participated, and now it's full of edgy people and not at all hugbox like. Times change.

3 RepliesI think a person's true side comes out online. There are no real social norms to follow, no real consequences to be worried about. People can just be themselves. And if they choose to be rude and hateful online, I think it shows that they can only be a decent person when they're expected to be, and when there are consequences when they are not decent.

I'm a nice guy in real life though.

Seriously though. The only logical explanation is that the Internet provides a platform for anyone and everyone to express themselves in whatever ways they want to without any real consequence. And so that's what people do.
