edit: guys i wasn't salty about this lol i just laughed and found another group and sure enough we got it done first try haha plenty of time to get it done this week. he was only harming himself by losing a fireteam member.
also the guy couldn't have been older than 17 judging by his voice, so it's not a matter of "adults wanting to play with adults"

I'm 14 and I have a rather deep voice. I never tell people my age they just assume I'm 16+. I've had people ask if I'm in my 30s.

I often have a full team of 6 for raid activities but when we do need to LFG another person as long as you doing lie about having ToM or your light level, and don't run around like a douche I don't care if you're 14 or 40.

5 RepliesIf I was working towards a goal w 5 other people in any aspect of life I would not want a 14 year old to be part of it. There's nothing wrong with inherently accepting that with youth comes a general lack of focus, communication skills, teamwork ability, etc.

Im 17 now and have a much deeper voice than most people twice my age, voice is a HUGE factor in if people stay in a fireteam.ngl if theres anybody with a high/annoying voice they get kicked due to not wanting to hear them. Also younger people tend to talk more, if you keep to yourself and only talk when you need to you should be alright.

I can understand your frustration but I'll give you an example of how age can be an issue. At Oryx challenge this week, had a really well organised fireteam which included a really on point kid who was doing just great. No needless chatter, just good coms. Then at 16 bombs, just as we are about to detonate his Mum starts shouting at him, then boom... He leaves the fireteam and party, clearly his Mum cut off the internet. Needless to say, this meant we didn't get his bombs in time and wiped. Is it his fault? NO! But can we avoid this by sticking to a fireteam of adults? Unfortunately, yes (of course this can sometimes happen when an adult is on baby duty, but this is so much rarer). My advice to you and other young people, start asking for people to NOT be adults and make your own fireteams where you're all under the same pressures at home as each other. Also, I apologise for any adult being rude to you for being young, it's not cool.

5 RepliesI'm 14, almost everyone I play with is 18+, never been kicked from a team because of my age. Just be mature, don't act like a 12 year old, and you'll get accepted.
