I haven't played for months, before all the sad acts check my history. Go ahead knock yourself out.
I unashamedly admit, i simply logged in to gloat.
The Division is going to blow this shameless cashgrab of a game out of the water, and not a moment too soon.
Yes i do hold a grudge, yes i resent that i paid so much for so little. Yes at times i enjoyed it, but afterwards, once i had played the hype, i was always left with the feeling that i had been taken advantage of.
This game launched with so little content, it is criminal. Even content added since then, when you think about it, is just the same mapping, with different voiceovers. How hard is that to actually code? How much developer time.
Say what you like about the Division, but it already has more content at launch than the whole of Destiny does as i write this. I mean you just have to look at mapping, as one example.
The Divison - Recreates New York City, the attention to detail is actually quite amazing.
Destiny - Knocks up a few soulless maps, with admittedly impressive backgrounds. The size of which however, leaves much to be desired. 18 months later, the maps are still as limited and soulless.
Hopefully, lesson learnt for Hacktivision, and the next expansion for Destiny, that will no doubt cost the same as a full price game and be filled with "hype" features which are simply things they should have included in the first place.
EDIT: To all the Destiny hillbilly fanboys, please leave your "cool" one liners on the playground, where they belong. Remember, you can forge your legend still! Be brave!

Can people not just play what they want anymore and talk about how good it is without bashing something else into the ground? Is it just to get attention? to be the cool kid? You say destiny was trash, and you are complaining about the price, the amount of content, etc etc.... yet you played it for nearly 30 days of your life. It really shouldn't take that long to decide if you don't like something. I played ESO online for a total of 24 hours before I made up my mind. I don't regret it, it wasn't for me. It got traded, that adventure was over. To me, 30 days (in hours terms) seems like plenty of entertainment for your money. It's ran its course for you, thats absolutely fine, but I don't see how thats the developers fault. If you have clocked up that many hours of playtime I would say they have done a great job. I play all sorts of games, most of them cost about the same price, most of them haven't garnered my attention for even close to that long, and I don't feel robbed or let down by any of them either. These aren't subscription based services, they all (including the division) have a finite amount of content to play, and when they end, just move on.
