Why are my exotics still 290 light when I'm 302 light?
I've seen videos on YouTube saying that once once reach light level 300 you will no longer get 290 exotics but I still do?

U need to be 311 to get 310's consistently

Make sure the slot you're redeeming the engram for is at least 311 Light. It's a guaranteed 310.

Need to be 311 for exotics to open at 310...till then about 50/50 for me

I'm 307. I got a 310 Bad Juju, Jade Rabbit and The Ram. In the same weekend I also got 290 Hereafter, Invectus and Crest of Alpha... Like someone else said - its RNG, sometimes its on your side, but mostly not.
