This Iron Banner is a joke
Clash is such a good game mode, and mix that with HoS still not being fixed months after TK launched.

9 RepliesThey also removed the xp towards iron banner when you lose you still get it towards crucible and factions rep but you don't get any towards the iron banner unless you win WTF before you got rep whether you won or lost I noticed bc the first match we lost and it was sitting at 0 xp

I'm only doing one character for the machine gun this time. Clash is so terrible as a competitive game mode. Nothing but snipers, sunbreakers and campers.

1 ReplyEdited by Aether Seraph: 11/18/2015 9:43:23 PMThe game needs HOS. The titan should have a class that makes you say "OH SH*T" drop what your doing and either run, or focus fire. In the overall scope of things its right. Head to head by yourself its difficult to overcome but it IS doable. If your with a good team, its literally the only thing in pvp that causes you to cooperate and focus fire in Taking down a hammer is also a great feeling, even if everyone participated in the takedown.

Thorn took 9 months to get nerfed. It's gonna take more than 2 months to nerf a subclass. Hammer of sol sucks, but is hardly as game breaking as people make it out to be so it isn't a top priority in bungies big book of impending nerfs. As for IB being clash... I prefer control over clash mainly because it seems like every team we come up against moves as a single entity. Good strategy, but annoying as hell lol. But regardless, I've done fairly well.

Hammer of Sol is super-based, but can still be pretty powerful if you get your perks right. I go for Thermal vent and cauterize for when I melee and use grenades.

3 RepliesI actually like clash for iron banner because you can play without an organized team, which happens a lot for me because of my work hours, and not worry about your team not communicating or trying to capture zones. But cruicible in general is broken right now. Blink shotguns are still a thing, lucky erine is bullshit, and then the terribly balanced subclasses. I used to love destiny, still do in a way, but after playing halo, and actually having a balanced, not stressful, and actually enjoyable PVP, it's hard to go back to destiny. I thought iron banner would do it, but honestly, it's not fun. The first half of the game is fine, until the other team gets their seemingly unending hammers because there's 5 Titans.

14 Replies.... The longer I've been playing Crucible since TTK... The more I realize that a nerf to hammer of Sol is Unnecessary. There is definitely enough counter-play opportunities to shut down hammer of sol.
