This Iron Banner is a joke
Clash is such a good game mode, and mix that with HoS still not being fixed months after TK launched.

1 ReplyHammer isn't necessarily broken per se. It is the only super capable of completely changing the dynamic of a match tho. Example: winning by 3000 towards the end of the match, feeling the momentum... Then Bing! There's a hammer in the middle... 5 guardians down, then Bing! Another one, 5 more down... Game over you lose by 500. Happened more than once. It's really the only super that can do that. GG is 2-3 kills ,4 if lucky. Bladedancer 2-3, 4+ if lucky but you can be killed. Shadowshot 2-3. Nova 1-2 maybe, sun singer 1-3 but you can be killed. Storm caller? Ya you can mow down a scrub team for 6 but any team with awareness will stop you at 1-2. Defender, please. Fist of havoc 1-2 max... Hammers? I've seen dudes pop it in the middle of the map, wipe all six enemies and still have more hammers to throw plus very hard to kill one v one. Hell I got pasted once as soon as I spawned caught a hammer to the face, respawned, the dude ran all the way across the map and waxed me again. It's the only game changing super out there. It might need a slight tweak.

Yea I can't wait to get my hunter to rank 5 on rank 4 now then I can switch to my Titan and HoS the whole team and win just the match based on supers alone

6 RepliesJust tried some iron banner whilst waiting for my FREE HALO 5 DLC, it's sucks ass, game is so slow, so boring, no rewards or progression and the connections and servers are still appalling!

3 RepliesBy just looking in from the ouside it sure looked like HoS was a bit OP. Well, I decided to play IB this time around and Jesus -blam!-ing Christ. I don't really have a problem with the sunbreaker output - although it's totally OP compared to the other subclasses. The real problem is the ridiculous survivability. Why does sunbreaker even have armor boost when it already has the most devistating output? In my most recent game alone I saw a sunbreaker take several sniper shots and on another occassion eat a truth rocket, walk through a trip mine and just get his health back.

1 ReplyI main a titan, but I've been playing with a hunter this IB. I've actually been doing better than with my titan. I miss a lot of shadow shots but I've been able to stop Titans and warlock supers without much effort . Yes there are times I'm in a bad spot and get hit with a hammer but you can hear the hammer time and set up for it. You run, hide or kill the titan . I don't understand this Titan hate. Most of the games I've played have had a good mix of each character except on where I had most of my team as Titan ,that was fun to watch.

I enjoy this iron banner, its way better than control where you get grouped with guardians that do not capture points. Plus you get a helluva lot more supers there. You must not play crucible that much. I main hunter and think HoS is op but not going to stop me from playing. One golden gun if you're quick is good enough.

I think it's great that they have changed IB from Control to Clash, it breaks it up a bit. Sure it makes it harder to do some of the bounties if you are not the greatest at killing opposing players but then do we really want it easy ? I play as a Sunsinger Lock and I am able to getting in the top 3 so I can't honestly say that HoS is broken as they don't cause me any more problems than an other Super, hear the noise and run away if you don't feel comfortable taking them on. Just think some people are not happy unless they have something to moan about.
