Everyone is b*tching about poor drops from King's Fall. Reminder: This is a video game. The last time I checked, video games are played for entertainment. If you want consistent rewards, get a job. You'll be compensated biweekly in the form of cash.

1 ReplyShut up swine, if anyone played destiny for fun they wouldn't be playing because the game sucks

-
I do!

I tried soloing Crota End for my first time while I was bored. Even did it on hard mode instead of normal mode and it was pretty fun.
-
I enjoy raiding with my group, it's fun
-
I tried VoG for fun when CE was getting boring. None of the randoms were competent. Wiped 8 times at confluxes. Half the team didn't know about the green ooze from the fanatics. We just left. Never tried a raid for "fun" after that.

Do you even destiny bro? "We play this shit for the delicious tears of others and no other reason." -the destiny community
-
I'm glad you think doing the same raid every week is fun. shows a lot about yourself.
-
I enjoy raiding with a group that knows to have fun. When someone starts whining and being a jerk, the fun goes away. When you make a mistake, own it and make up for it. Don't whine about it.
-
I like to have fun. But wiping 15 times in a row because randoms can't stay alive on oryx gets old fast. My raid group does the raid start to finish in an hour including breaks for bathroom and smokes. When we need a random to finish our alts they just can't do what we need.

1 ReplyI raid for fun, though to be honest it's a lot more fun if I don't get screwed at every checkpoint. It's not very fun spending 2-3 hours just on Oryx to come away with 2 moldering shards and a chest piece or pair of gloves that are lower light than I already have. Personally I think that Oryx should guarantee a 320 piece of gear whether it's a weapon, exotic, armor or ghost shell. They would still keep their grind intact and make the most difficult part of the raid rewarding and would give incentive to put in the time to finish it. Just my .02

I'd agree. Problem is.... This game isn't fun. It's addition

5 RepliesOur clan run all three every Friday recently loads of fun and kingsfall drops have been ok apart from that son of a bitch warpriest........Where's my machine gun you dick!

I ran VoG 6 times some weeks. I like KF too, but its been tougher to find good groups.

VOG is the only raid that I thought was fun. I didn't care much for the Crota raid and the Oryx raid was interesting for about a week.

1 ReplyEdited by JHarv: 11/13/2015 2:41:42 AMThey made the game very loot grindy. They didn't make it a big open fun explorable solar system. Most of us play because the fun is the success and the reward associated with it. I have the most fun when I destroy content quickly and easily, especially when it is (or was, at first) challenging, and then get some sweet gear out of it. Same in Borderlands. I just wanted to collect all kinds of different awesome weapons and then use them. Be OP with them. And then try new ones. I can do everything Destiny throws at me, easily. All that I'm trying to do now I complete armor sets and get different fun guns to use. So when I don't get anything new for weeks, the fun is sucked right out of it for me.

Not anymore. If I'm with my regular group, it ends up being fun because of the people, but I'm really just there to get my drops and get out.

3 Replies**Raises hand** Kids throw peanuts at him from the back row **Pulls out his Gjallerhorn** Then he turns around and says "You're a thorn in my side. I guess we are both obsolete." **Remembers that there is still vision of confluence** Oh wait.... All year 1 raid gear and weapons are completely useless thanks to bungie

Our clan does :)

I still run crota for the shards for glumer easy 2500-5000 glim xD

I find that after I complete the raid for the week it's a lot more fun to just help others get through it and not worry about drops.
-
I try, but everyone gets so salty over drops.
