So all this new stuff that destiny is coming out with is just anti-family. Let me explain. Those of us who are not teenage basement dwellers, or of the lucky few who make money by playing games, simply do not have the same amount of time to play.
Okay so I understand that, some people are able to play more then others, that's just how it always is. Before TTK update there was a daily story always, and it had alright rewards. Now there is a daily SOMETIMES that has a hidden quest to get an exotic weapon. If I missed a daily before I missed out on some experience and materials, now I miss out one some of the best content the game has to offer because I have a family and don't basement dwell and have family responsibilities .
It's not only the waepons. They also have daily rewards for the crucible and the daily mission by means of legendary marks,l. Once the day is gone so are those marks. Obtaining marks is the only way to unlock exotics that I already had, but we're in year 1. Yes I know RNG may give me some of these, but with how much I can play instill have to get several, and I'm short on marks AND exotic shards.
See a pattern here? If you have a family and can't give this game your all every single day, then you're screwed. I haven't even been able to talk about having all the high level gear in a hard mode raid that I have not been able to get high enough of a level to start, due again to having a family.
Bungie, please tell me why I can't get every thing this game has to offer because I have a family?
Noone at Bungie will take the time to read this, I'm sure of it
Solution: buy more systems, and games, for your family. Get them to start playing, constantly making them your fireteam. Get shit done, get your gear, profit.

Edited by MrHereticCTV: 11/7/2015 7:35:14 PMWow. I must be just super awesome then. Two kids, one if which is five months old. Full time job. I manage to work, raise a baby, check homework, have a side business of my own, and play this game. I may not always get everything the second is available. I did pick up the sleeper first time it was available. Had to wait for the second run for no time to explain. Got the spindle first time it was available. So I missed something and have to wait. Big deal. I think you're putting to much worry into a game. I play more than enough with everything I have going on, but Damn, if I miss something one day, I don't have a shit fit. Sorry if I don't follow what the issue is.

Trying not to sound like a dick here, why would you want everything with so little playtime. This game can last you longer than me because you'll still have these guns to go for. Enjoy the grind(what this game is and always will be) or move on to something you enjoy more.

1 ReplyI have a family and a secret second family that my main family knows nothing about. Still have plenty of time for destiny.
-
Father of 4 with a wife. I don't have a problem man. Yeah its a time consuming hobby, but you can balance it. I play from 8:30 when the kids sleep till about 12ish or hop on during the weekends. I just focus on getting the raids done. Had em.all done this Tuesday so that was nice. The daily is rarely special. Watch the forum for info when it is then hop . on. Also you don't like games. If Bungie doesn't like families..you don't like games.

3 RepliesI'm a full time college student with a girlfriend. My characters don't seem to be lacking.

So all of you are for the never ending grind?
-
1 ReplyGet rid of the family. Problem solved.

1 Replythis post is absolutely ridiculous
-
2 RepliesLol I was just talking to my friend about this. Bungie hates anyone who does not put at least 12 hours a week in to this game. My wife hates Destiny!!!
-
You're asking to plead to the casuals. No.
-
You can play 2 hours a day, every day last year and rack up 730 hours. I'll just leave this here.
-
Year 1 weekly heroic and nightfalls were the shit! Yr 2 can jus suk my fat white balls bitches!!
-
1 ReplyYou're essentially asking for Destiny to cater towards casuals.. pls no
-
I feel your pain. on the bright side that means it'll take us longer to run out of things to do lol
-
The only real huge time commitment is the raid.
-
I could say the same about college, school, work, and any other responsibility. Wanna know why? It's a -blam!-ing video game used to entertain you in your free time
-
The problem lies with yourself. Not Bungie.

make a man-cave bro

Yeah suck it up. I can't play destiny in large chunks because of school so I miss almost all the dailies and only have done the raid once. I'm fine with it since I mainly lay pvp but yeah no real reason to complain. I don't get why this argument is valid reason to claim it's anti-family

7 Repliestake break, cant wait for fallout 4 it has a pause button.

1 ReplyOh wow basement dweller thats a tad far
-
Then finds different game if you think that

3 RepliesI play with my 3 brothers and my father. Destiny is fine for family's. Stfu

I work 45 hours a week, attend/host a party once a week, go fishing or take a weekend getaway, spend time with family, and still get a lot done on the game. I put more time into the game than I do other things, and perhaps you don't. Tit for tat. One thing that brings me in more regularly is my fire team. We have great camaraderie and it's kind of like hanging out with my buds.

Edited by R merc G: 11/6/2015 10:02:37 PMI have a family and only play a couple days per week and have been able to do about everything but flawless Trials. Just because you don't have everything and can't run every activity doesn't mean you can't progress or that the game isn't worth playing. Those of us with families and other responsibilities can never keep up with no-lifers in any game.
