Eirene LITC One Shot
I'm honestly tired of the Eirene having the chance to one shot body. Final round was an extreme problem in year one Trials. So why would you allow another perk on snipers like this? This needs to be fixed before it gets way out of hand like it did before.

I have played some elimination matches yesterday. I love those sniper bodyshots, easy to survive and regroup. I get killed a lot more by the snipers who actually aim for the head.

You are the only person who is complaining about that. I rarely see anyone using the rr4 in pvp. Its just a random chance of ohk so deal with it.

Ran trials on all three guys this weekend. Not once did I get LiTC by that sniper. Almost no one uses it because the stock scope is crap for PVP. Also, you cannot predict the LiTC round so aiming for the body on all your shots is just stupid. Having said that, the sniper is great for PVE though. This sniper is fine the way it is

2 RepliesInfused into spindle after realizing that if I really am a good sniper, I don't need a 1 hit body shot. Plus aim assist is probably better in the long run.

Final round you empty all but the last bullet and you've got a guaranteed 1 shot kill. Luck in the chamber you don't know when the bullet will proc meaning it is 100% luck. Now if you fire your first 3 rounds and it doesn't prove then sure you know it's the next round but 1 the chances are 1/4, 2 if you were tying to exploit this you would waste a lot of ammo, and 3 in a normal scenario where you don't know the last round is your LitC round then it won't matter because you'll still be going for headshots. I personally love LitC. It's saved me from a few HoS Titans that I've precision shot and it does a boatload of extra damage to bosses, especially when I have weapons of light on and the boss is either tethered or on fire.

It's annoying but it's not gamebreaking or op simply because it cannot be exploited.

Leave this LitC crap alone. It's not OP, or cheap. You have to get lucky that one of your shots will be the LitC and kill on body shot. Otherwise you just deal damage while the other person sniping is centering on your head. It's not like Final Round on Efrideet's Spear. You don't hear people wasting ammo to find the lucky shot. so just get good at sniping, and kill the -blam!-ers going for body shots. Problem solved.

Won plenty of ToO with teams running 1-2 of these snipers. Rush and shotgun. I hate shotguns so I had to learn fast.

It's range is severely reduced compare to other snipers, so the trade off is close-mid range only for a1/4 chance to one shot

Skill doesn't exist in Destiny nor doesn't a competitive place for those who look for sort of thing. -Remove LITC? Then remove Hidden Hand, and every other perk that allows to you to a LARGER margin of error to get a headshot to register as the hit detection counts it inside the hit box. -Remove No Land Beyond, sniper with Iron Sights? Doesn't fit in this game because of range/exotic perk and generally all map are geared for CQB engagements. It's like you pulling up a AR and just lining up for a headshot. Where the skill? -You talk about what doesn't belong but don't want to look at the entire picture. Snipers with a magazine? No bolt action? MOST people with high RoF snipers bodyshot anyway. High impact low RoF is high risk high reward but without the high risk. -People argue that sniping takes skill. How about the Aim Assist you AUTOMATICALLY get in game that you CAN'T turn off. That plus snipers with NO sway OR holding your breath?? Skill though right? Please. -LITC is not a issue like Final Round because you can't proc it. Take the time to aquire you target faster and drag the scope across the head of your target. Dead. Most "good" snipers do and saves times. Keep your sights centered and practice. Cheers. Edit1: Just learned how you can proc LITC and it's way more a hassle to do so and still having the chance to be out sniped be a simply "better" sniper. I think my argument is still valid.

2 RepliesI only use eirene for low aim assist. All snipers should come like this and yes i have litc cause its the best roll. I dont think it matters tho im forever hitting headshots with it and may get a lucky litc collat.

Eirene is a beautiful sniper. During trials I res sniped(with Litc) a self res stag with full armor. And stay down reindeer!

Yeah, but it's a real luck thing compared to final round where you could control it. It's honestly just a novelty, out of multiple trials runs some for flawless, some for fun, it only saved me like 2 times.

Blame aim assist for this perk is really laughable :) i'd rather get shot by a high aim assist sniper then getting shot over and over again in my body and die sometimes because if a luck perk (25% change on full mag this is insane)
