Why have you STOPPED playing Destiny?
Truth is i have maxed out my 3 characters in every way shape and form including all guns and exotics. There is nothing left for me to do.....its as simple as that.
I feel most players when they hit this level might agree with me. Trials was ok for a time and now very boring, even the raids have no meaning and have no purpose. POE was good at the start but all the guns are pathetic and the armour is not worth buying,
I have so many treasure keys, etheric light, coins etc and as the months go by, the love of destiny has been erased. I will not be buying the dlc but thankyou for the hundreds of hours i have played the game. All this happened 2 months ago and ive only played about 3 hours in the last month, i switch the game on and think....what can i do? so i turn it off

1 ReplyI have all the exotics that are useful including Gjallarhorn. PoE is boring after you get all 3 elder ciphers there is no reason in ever doing it again. Just waiting on ttk to drop.

Boredom. Also, switching from having a solid 6 man group to only needing 3 for PoE really hindered my clan.

1 ReplyNothing to do. 1 exotic left to collect and the law of diminishing returns is very real in this game. After playing other games (Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2, Wolfenstein Old Blood, Last of Us, Shadows of Mordor, etc) with actual story it makes Destiny seem pretty lame. Bungie has done such a poor job of delivering quality content, communicating with their customers and fixing/updating the game that it's clear we are never getting the game anywhere near what they advertised. They are using the same horrible marketing pattern for TTK as well which is not showcasing how amazing the new content is, it's just vague BS with no details. TTK is going to be more of the same and I don't understand how anyone can actually find fun in running the same linear, lazy mission design for the 20th+ time. The game is psychologically manipulative, and survives off the addiction. Hours played does NOT equal fun! Will I play TTK, yes. Is it nothing more than filer until the big titles start dropping in Oct, big yes!

Because Life is Strange Episode 4 comes out today <3 [b]PSA[/b] If you have yet to play Life is Strange, I highly recommend checking out the demo. It's very much worth $25 for the season pass.

1 ReplyBecause destiny isn't fun. Destiny is a loot addiction. Once you have all the loot the game isn't fun to play. Grinding to max level or getting the exotics you want has always been the motivation, without that there's no reason to play.

1 ReplyThe real question is why should I play Destiny. I feel like Bungie is in more control of the game than the actual players. I want to play some PvE end game but can't because there is no optional matchmaking. I will not waste time with LFG forums, which should be in the game, and I don't know how people are still obsessed with the grinding.

1 ReplyNot enough content to keep me occupied. Considered getting TTK but then the Nerf 2.0 nerf notes were released and that erased any desire to get TTK. I still play a little bit but it is becoming less and less as time goes on. Just tired of Bungie's bullshit.

I said so at the beginning and people just fan boyed out on these forums, but there's just not enough content when you look at the grand scheme of things. The exotics and any legendaries worth owning are few and far between as are the activities to go about obtaining them. It's easy to hit the true level cap of this game (maxed out and in possession of all worthwhile items) to refer to this game as an mmo is laughable but people put on the forum body armor and went to war over this game early on. Some still do. To get better games we as gamers must be critical of what comes out. The model for this game allows companies to see what they can get away with and if we're not careful ten years down the road we're going to be paying for an animated title screen on a disc with the levels released as dlc.

I still play a little used to like to help new players out and people with no raid luck or experience but im tired of the interfering nerfs that constantly make my work leveling and loving weapons turn them into trash. Im not a fan of Bungie i never played Halo but dont expect it would of been any better. P.s. Im not a pvp person and only did enough of that crap to complete the exotic bounties and hated being forced into it.

I only play crucible at this point or do strikes in order to get old gear. I've always thought the game was shit and I wish I stopped playing sooner.

picked up kingdom hearts 2.5 for cheap. Birth by sleep is -blam!-ing awesome.
