RN -blam!-ING GESUS
I was just in a team doing atheon. A guy got red death from the chest and then switched to get Gjallarhorn. According to him it was his 15th. I am yet to have 1. Then, upon completing atheon, I was gifted my millionth vex mythoclast. Some people don't have any so this is bullshit. Also, another -blam!-ing gjallarhorn dropped. BUNGIE FIX THIS MOTHER-blam!-ING RNG. I WANT THE GJALLARHORN AND I DESERVE IT. I have written multiple polite posts but I am -blam!-ing done. Don't -blam!-ing reply "this is under the wrong category" because it isn't. Bungie you need this fix the RNG issue and you need to fix it now.

1 ReplyI know how you feel, i've been doing hard crota 3 times a week since hard mode came out so i can get the crux and i haven't seen it yet, and my bestfriend who has done 6 hard crotas in total and didn't want the crux received it last week.

No, so my advice is to play the game normally without wanting a gjallarhorn and you and I will get the gjallarhorn.... One day brother... One day

There is hate and understanding in this post. To the haters: I realize that this is RNG but I feel like bungie could tweak it so that if a certain exotic is currently on that character, it cannot drop. This way people could help themselves raise the chances of getting the exotics they want. It just kills me to see people brag about how many hawkmoons or gjallarhorns they have. Personally, I would like to see this implemented if it is possible. Also, this post is given slightly more attention because it is in the help section of the post. I do feel I need help with this game, but then again; I am a 15 year old nerd who loves to play. if you reply please don't insult me, I am not a fan of that form of communication. Thanks.

Bungie made the drops to be random. Randomness is supposed to be uncontrolled, or have minimum control over it. Depends on luck. You may not like it, but it doesn't need to be fixed, b/c it's working just fine.

Hello game, RNG is a large portion to why Destiny has such a reason to grind. Many have gotten their 60th Gjallarhorn while others have yet to get their first. This is intended so that it keeps players trying and pushing to get what they seek. I for example can't get the purifier robes to save my life but I still try even though I spent over 400 motes of light trying only to get the heart of praxic fire 20 times. It's not about what you deserve that makes Destiny worth playing its about what you get (or dont get in this instance). Once you get the Gjallarhorn you will understand. Til then patience and diligence is your ally guardian. Don't give up just keep on trying!
