My character achieved sentience during the final years of the Golden Age, joining the System Defence Force as the Collapse began. By the final days of the Collapse, the exo had degraded to a lone wolf, murdered by a swarm of Hive on the last battle of Luna. The Exo was reborn to serve again by the Ghosts of the Traveller as a Hunter, free to fight and roam in service of the Light.
