Science and religion can coexist, sure. But one is always progressing and the other is always retreating. The retreat could take forever, but it's still a retreat. What religion is today isn't what religion will be tomorrow.

I disagree. And that's that.
-
It doesn't matter if you disagree it's true. You don't see too many religious people burning people at the stake and stoning people anymore because it's become socially unacceptable due to science gaining more ground.
-
That's a terrible counter argument. Religion is going nowhere. Deal with it.
-
It's been neutered whether you agree with me or not. That's clear since many terrible crimes the bible urges simply don't happen very often. It's here but it will never be as influential and many people won't follow the terrible things it says to do because it's illegal to kill people. They can't stone gay people, fortune tellers, "witches", people who work on sundays, and they can't make -blam!- victims marry their rapist like the bible tells them to. Society has changed and these things are seen as disgusting and nearly everyone wouldn't do them including the people following the religions. Religion has been neutered and it's starting to fade. It will be a long time before it disappears but it will eventually. Or it will be so neutered that it's a shadow of it's former self.

You are an idiot. Religion is here to stay forever, you mad?
-
You are an idiot.
I'm simply stating what the evidence has led me to think. Christians really only kill and harass gay people at this point, which is still disgusting but they're losing the war.
Religion is here to stay forever,
Only until humanity dies.
you mad?
I'm relatively happy today. Are you mad?

You have no idea what you're talking about. I assume you're around 12 years old considering your username.
-
I'm 17, had to confront my religious and political beliefs, read the bible, found it disgusting, contradictory, and nonsensical. And I've been using this username for things since I was six. It's not just a force of habit but it reminds me of better times.
-
You sound socially inept.
-
Brilliant response...
-
I actually get along great with other people. My social life is dead because of my illness but due to a recent improvement in my health I'm trying to get it jumpstarted again. It's difficult but hopefully it will be rewarding. By the way very kind and Christian of you to make all these assumptions.
-
Cool story, bro. Wanna blog about it? I don't represent Catholicism.
-
So you mock me then proceed to make assumptions, I provide you with the facts and you proceed to ignore it and mock it. Are you sure you don't represent all creationists instead?
