Honestly I think Osiris is already dead and that's the dead character they speak of

I think Osiris is "stored" in that chained up rock at the of the Luna Shattered Realm (sorry, I forgot the name of it). It's about the size of a human, and I refuse to believe bungie but that thing so prominently in sight without a reason. I think it's his prison, and the cruelty in that is: we have been so close to him, so many times... It's just the kind of cruelty that fits Savathun like a glove.

Hmmm... You sure? Because the techeun steps from a portal. I think the way both Mara and Petra explain the locations of the techeuns throughout the narrative, they are adrift in some sort of space between spaces. Not necessarily locked away. I may be wrong though 🙂

In the Scorn area there is a capsule that one techeun sits in. One techeun is taken so she is defeated and then the regular techeun is brought back. The Hive area has a chained up crystal where the other is kept.

I really hope he isn’t, but realistically speaking he probably is. I just wish we’d got more of him, which is why I’m hoping he’s alive

If you listen when she is transforming out of the Osiris body you snappy and cracking noises she was using his body as a vessel and then she broke it apart he is most likely dead

Perhaps it’s actually Osiris guiding us? Edit: we should also consider that Savathûn might be capable of transforming her body into Osiris’, and that Osiris’ physical form could still be safe

True… well, either way I’m hoping Osiris survives because I did love that character. It’s going to be so heartbreaking if we see Saint learn Osiris is dead. Still, my theory that he could be the one guiding us in the Ascendant Realm is at least plausible. There’s precedent for it, since Toland was also killed in his physical form by Hive magic (albeit not in the same manner Osiris might have been). I just want Osiris to be alive
