Seriously. I mean, what’s up with you guys and loud music. Do you get the notion that we want our -blam!-ing eardrums burst every time we start up the game? Change it to something quieter, like chimes or soft music because we’re going back to the moon or whatever. Even the taken king wasn’t as loud as warmind or forsaken. I mute my audio and the music most of the time because it’s DEAFENING. The music isn’t great. It doesn’t play on par to the setting. I mean, take a look at the first year of D1, sure, you might get tired of hearing it, but at least it doesn’t burst your eardrums.

Lol this thread. How lazy have people become that they can't push a button on a remote that is right next to them? People complain about the dumbest things.
-
I've never once thought it was too loud. Are you guys listening through headsets?
-
D2's theme music is definitely way too loud. I shouldn't have to dive for the Xbox menu button every time I start up Destiny 2, just so I don't have to hear the music (which I'm sure is perfectly nice... if it were a normal volume and not one designed to blow out my speakers :P).
-
Nope. Now you'll be greeted with the BWAHHHHH from Inception.
-
Do you kids really not know you could adjust the volume of your tv? It’s so sad that this post has the amount of upvotes that it has. You all are either trolling or just really young that you don’t know how to work your own television.
-
No, I DON'T NEED TO LOWER MY TV VOLUME. Ps4 menu, twitch, yt, everything else is at an acceptable volume but everytime I launch Destiny I immediately put the ps4 menu back on otherwise BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. Jesus, its as if Warmind wasn't loud enough.
-
If you’re on ps4, i found that after you hit X to start you can press the ps button to go back to the quiet ps4 dashboard and just wait 5 min until character screen comes up. You’re welcome ;)
-
I wouldn’t mind the wonderfully acoustic version of that South Park song, “Uncle F——r!”
-
1) Pick up t.v. remote. 2) Press volume (-) button until volume satisfactory. 3) You are welcome.
-
OMG HAHAHHAAHA THIS IS HILARIOUS HAHHAHAA

*laughs in Borderlands Pre-Sequel start up*
-
/laughs in Borderlands 3 Gearbox logo screen But in all seriousness...why do they have to make pregame screens so loud compared to the rest of the game?
-
Do you get the notion that we want our -blam!-ing eardrums burst every time we start up the game?
...does your TV not have volume control?
-
Also dark theme would be nice
-
You're right. Someone need to invent a means of adjusting the volume on a TV.
-
Moons haunted, so quiet ambience with the occasional hive sound in the distance.
-
So you want another exotic hand cannon, I see how it is

Изменено (mdknyte): 9/15/2019 8:37:16 AMI agree. Of course you can lower the volume, but that's a bandaid to the problem. the problem is the intro loading screen music is ridiculous. 1) remove the white staring-at-the-sun loading screen. 2) remove the ear piercing horns orchestra music and use something nice and soothing like the original D1 star trekky loop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUtJbxYiC8s 3) remove the "press [button] to start" part. do it how borderlands 3 does it, which is, when you launch the game, it starts loading automatically. you can launch, walk away, come back, and it's ready for you to select your character. with D2 you have to launch, wait a year, get the "press [button] to start" part, press it, THEN you can leave, go to college, get a degree, then a masters, then get married, have kids, start a business, have grandkids, pay off your mortage, retire, grow old, then come back and it should be on the character loading screen. I hate the stupid wait between launch to "press [button] to start" part. completely useless.

Pssst... hey guys, did you know your TVs have adjustable volume? Seriously, you can change it; just hit the down arrow on the "volume" button that's located on your TV remote. It's fantastic! It will lower the volume of the music instantly. You won't have to wait for Bungie to do anything. No need to thank me. I'm just doing my part, helping out the community.
-
Agreed, and make the loading in faster for D2 so I feel less stupid for having laughed back then at the lauding time for The Division 1!
-
Watch it end up being this ultra quiet theme after all these requests. And then you press A and Omnigul's scream is played at an ear-splittingly loud volume
-
Bungie: "We wanted to make Shadowkeep a quiet, mysterious, and scary expansion, and to make this happen we realized we had to make a theme that fits the message...." Players: *visible excitement* Bungie:"...So we've decided that Shadowkeeps theme will be a bass boosted, hyper-enhanced version of the Warmind Theme!"

Изменено (Xero): 9/16/2019 1:40:49 AMNo. The screen has to burn my retina. The sound has to rupture my eardrums. The experience has to be like fingertips on the surface of my mind! It needs to blow my mind...
...like brain matter everywhere...and stuff...it'll be awesome. Press X to experience awesome.
D1 y1 was perfect. Dark screen, soft music...please go back to this ❤️
-
So now we're complaining about the music. LMAO. This community is something else, I tell ya.

How about D1 ghost voice?
