Bruh. The reason they did this is because the loot was TOO EASY TO GET. Wth you just want everything handed to you on a silver platter or something? Bungie literally gave us the option to CHOOSE WHAT WE WANT from this MATCHMADE ACTIVITY and your god damn complaining? Your not even getting anything random YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GONNA GET WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE ACTIVITY! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?! And once your a high enough light level the menagerie becomes literally easy as hell, and you can complete it in less then 10 minutes. Theres a perk on the chalice that can net you not one, but two guns of your choosing sometimes off of doing a weekly powerful. I'm tired of you guys ruining the experience of destiny. Go back to borderlands or something if you want "easy loot"

My issue is I just did heroic for like an hour and a half cuz the boss has 87 million health, and I got 7 enhancement cores for my trouble lol.

You do not choose what you want. You choose which weapon will be rolled. 98% of those rolled variants are garbage. The fact you believe you get what you want is hilarious. You will dismantle almost everything you get from that activity just like every other activity in the game. But yeah, shame on OP for expecting a rewarding experience. He should resign his opinion so as not to induce shame upon his family.

200 Austringers and no Outlaw Rampage. 400 Imperial Decrees and none with Rifled Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot and Snapshot. 150 Opulent Stalker Cloaks and none with Shotgun Scavenger and Sniper Scavenger. 100 Epicureans and none with Liquid Coils and Swashbuckler. That’s a total of 850 chests opened and none of those were worth keeping. But I kept doing it because I felt like I was always THAT close. That’s what chest glitch did. It’s what Destiny needs. Yet for some reason it continues to be one of the most unrewarding games in the looter shooter genre. But sure.
