Need help understanding a technical problem

Right after selecting my character, I keep getting "Attention, trying to contact Destiny servers" before even getting to orbit, followed by Weasel, and sometimes it gives me Centipede before even getting to the characters. This only happens during the day but opens up exactly after midnight (rarely on some days it'll work but it's very unpredictable. But when it works the connection is great, so disconnects, etc.). So why is this happening? Is it my ISP or something on Bungie's end? All my other games are working throughout the day, same with Xbox live and internet connection is good. Anything to do with port forwarding? It's frustrating cause I can't keep waiting to only be able to play after midnight, and this has been going on for about 2 months now Platform: Xbox one
