Ban shotguns in the crucible
Only noobs use them, it takes no skill whatsoever to run up and blast someone with a shotgun.

I actually think it does take a certain skill because i tried shotguns out and can't be effective with them at all and gave up on them. Unless your in melee distance, which is a logical lethal distance for a shotgun. I don't get killed too much by them either, depends on the map and if i get reckless. But i'm not that good of a pvp player so what do i know :)

For some reason I am terrible with shotguns in crucible lol. I do concider myself a good player usually around a 1.5 kd but every time I use one it never kills the guy. I'll stick to my black hammer for now I guess.

Some advice? Either accept the Crucible for what it is and enjoy yourself, or just move on to another pvp based game (Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc) because you're only making yourself look bad by putting other people down based on how they decide to play. You have just as much right to use the shotgun as everyone else. If you choose not to then that's on you, not the so-called "noobs" in the Crucible.

2 RepliesI don't necessarily think it needs to be banned, the just simply need to have a bare bones version of crucible. Where you only have primaries, melee, and grenades. Because I strongly agree, it takes significantly less skill than getting a string of head shots for a kill. And majority of people disagreeing are either participants in the following method or have never had to deal with it enough. Method: blink, shotgun, insta-melee It's an equation of success for people that aren't good enough to aim. But regardless bungie won't make custom matches and option. If they allowed battlefield type of matchmaking then no one would have issues because everyone would get what they want. Alas they don't listen to the players needs so my words and everyone else's is redundant.
