Omnigul harder than Crota's End Raid?
On the level 30 difficulty, not only does the Omnigul strike take longer than the CE raid, imo, it's more difficult.
1) Endless majors and ultras
2) Omnigul arena is too small
3) Cannot maintain DPS on Omnigul due to insane enemy spawn rate
4) Omnigul absorbs more than a shamwow
5) Nowhere to hide but the entrance room to the Omnigul arena
6) Omnigul moves far too much to maintain DPS
7) Wizard poison clouds obscure view of enemies even if not directly in the cloud
8) Wizard enemies constantly shoot arc blasts (pretty sure bungie said they would implement some new attacks for wizards)
Hell, I know I missed some, but whenever I beat the Omnigul strike, I almost expect a raid helmet or exotic award. Seriously, Omnigul should have a chance to award exotics.
EDIT: I AM NOT REFERRING TO THE NIGHTFALL WHICH WAS EASY AS HELL, I'M REFERRING TO LEVEL THIRTY STRIKE

Omnigul isnt difficult in the least. Yeah you cant dps her constantly, but Its better than literally every other strike where you head glitch and hold Rt. Youre complaining about wizard poison? Thats a first. Congrats on that. And youre mad that the enemies shoot you? Why do you even play a fps then? Getting to omnigul actually requires minimal skill. where as every other strike a fish could flop through it unscathed. And thats why id say Its one of My favorites.

With the burns, me and a friend of mine killed her within 2 minutes. Really not hard if you use the back room strategy

Use the little room in the back? Once you're geared up, it's easy. Same with the undying mind. I agree that people below 30 running roc strikes will have a hell of a time with the DLC strikes. They are disproportionately more difficult.

Enemies don't spawn endlessly, just every 25% of Gullie's health.

its pretty easy with all the burns on, but on the other hand you can't really rush it cuz two shots from a boomer or continuous shots from a wizard could spell disaster for your fireteam and kick you back to orbit

Considering my fire team beat Omnigul in 10 seconds with just rockets, yeahhh no :p the rest of that strike is just fun.

Without burn it's a slog for sure. I dunno about harder than CE though. We just make sure to use rocket launchers. Or clear adds jump on the bridge she is on and fire away with heavy machine guns and supers. When her shield is down she doesn't fire back. She screams before she summons adds. So run out, rinse repeat. Undying Mind is more of a pain IMO.

The hardest thing about Crota's End hard mode is teamwork. If you have a good team then it is embarrassingly easy. I can kill Omnigul with 6 rockets from my Gally by myself.

It's easy. When she screams she sends out enemies. Take them out first. They don't continuously spawn...is everything else dead? Yes? Hammer omnigul. Rinse and repeat.
