I've played other games for 600 hours and they haven't got boring. I played Destiny for 20 and wanted to trade it in.

I like to believe that people didn't dedicate their lives to making video games for money. Sure, the games Bungie makes gets a ton of cash. I prefer the idea that developers, artists, graphics designers, computer engineers, communications specialists, writers, coordinators, and who the hell knows how many other professionals dedicated their careers to people's amusement because they [u]enjoy[/u] making games. However, Activision is just a business that works with game creators to make more money for both them and their groups they sponsor. Don't blame Activision though. In the real world of big business, no one gives a shit about why you're sad. If you want to make a difference, create awareness to other people and urge other fans to not purchase their products. Hating a company is completely invalid if you still buy what they're selling.

Isn't the cellphone industry, for example, the exact same as what destiny is doing to us though? "look bro I got a new phone!" "congratulations, it'll be outdated soon and you'll need to buy another New phone, even though the phone you just bought will have 90% of the same shit that the next new one." All this bullshit about "bungie is overcharging us" can be fixed easy. Don't buy the expansion. In respect to "but the content is already on the disc!" Well no -blam!-ing shit, of course it is. Would you rather wait 3 months for new content that was already in process and has its placeholders ready or wait until release and start developing all the placeholders and extra content that will be released in about a year's time (just rough ideas I'm not sure how long it would take to pretty much develop another 1/4 to 1/2 a game.) Then you know by that time no one will be interested in playing if its been a year of this same shit. More than likely right now, I'm making an assumption, over half of the content for the next DLC is done. I think the way Bungie is doing the DLCs and the releases is good and will over all make the game even more of a success. There is one thing though that bothers me to no end. The length of the PlayStation exclusives. Look Activion I know you put in a lot of resources to get this game with the exclusives for the PlayStation, but a whole year after launch until the Xbox players get a taste?! That is pretty ridiculous, I don't think that Microsoft has ever been as -blam!-ed up Sony as what Sony and Activision have done to us. The only plus side I can see to the exclusives being finally released to us next year is getting all the content and having it add to the story, in my opinion is like another dlc

Just because art assets are on the disc does not mean it was complete or near finished. Art is the least buggy portion of any game. 4) Good business practice is to not make the customer feel as though they didn't get their money's worth or that the product falls well below the promises made. Creating customer loyalty is usually pretty important and this game far more than most other games have failed on those fronts. 5) Updates shouldn't be created to make the game a less fun, less intuitive, and more frustrating experience. There's no reason anyone should no longer be able to sell material for marks. Here's the deal. The game has been out for around 3 months. Now, when I first played destiny, I expected maybe 10-20 hours of me enjoying it and playing it before I got bored. You know, kinda the average amount of time for most games that come out. I ended up putting over 100 hours into the game. 100. That's twice as much as I've put into Skryim and I've enjoyed nearly every moment of it. Now, I'm not sure what people were expecting. Apparently people were expecting a game they could play non stop that would never get old. That isn't the case, for any game. It's just stupid if you put over 20 hours, let alone 100, into the game, then have the audacity to call it bad and expect Bungie to mold the game around your needs and apparently going as far as to saying you deserve free content. That's just silly. Have I gotten bored with it? Yes. But that's after over 100+ hours of gameplay. 90% of the people on these forums are way too spoiled and they're expectations were extremely too high. Bungie did not lie to you. You were not cheated of anything. You were provided a great game where we all put in a ton of hours. Even without the "cut content"

You may not want to clarify yourself as a "fanboy" but you are certainly sheep Bahlzack. I would of gladly payed for endless DLC but the fact of the matter is, all the ratings this game got speak for themselves. Yes i know ratings dont always mean anything but getting constant 6/10's 7/10's from so many prestigious companies you have to consider the justice in these ratings given. The game could of been so much more and it was before the lead story writer left around a year ago. Look at the maps and the gameplay before beta testings and launch, look at the lore and the depth in story this game was all about. You want to enable the production of dumbed down "call of duty" games thats all you, but dont tell us to shut up when they asked us to critic this game and disagree with what we see as critical thinkers as a ploy to sell this game to those less capable. They could of made so much more money if they let more people give feedback during the development.

Question.... If you got a new car and you payed for it and picked it up. After that you found out that you could only drive 2 miles then you had to turn it of and restart it and drive it again for 2 miles and then turn it of and so on.. Would you be a bit angry? Now would you be a bit upset if the dealer said that nothing is wrong here, but try to fill up the washerfluid in it and see what happens. Would you be a bit angry? Lmao so if cutting content and reselling it is an ok business model then maybe car companies should take the tires, wiper blades and mirrors off their cars and sell them separately. They were already on there but as a business they need to make money.
