Dear Destiny Community,
Kindly, kindly shut the hell up. Let me first say, I'm not a bungie fanboy. I think that destiny is a good game with a lot of room for improvement. Yes, it needs more content. Yes, it sucks that they essentially cut content to resell, but guess what? Bungie is a business. Guess how businesses continue to stay in business? They make money. This is not a charity project, it is not a freelance small-time game. It is a Multi-million dollar project made for the purpose of making money. That's it.
Additionally, updates to the game are intended to improve the game. Yes, sometimes it creates issues. No, not every update is going to be uniquely tailored to what you want as an individual, but today's patch was good, great, fine, dandy, decent. Yet, no matter what happens, someone will always be crying like a spoiled brat over tiny issues. Get the -blam!- over it. Shut the hell up. I say this especially to those who have hundreds of hours of play time who still rant and whine. Shut the hell up.
Edit: For those of you saying that I am implying not to criticize, you are wrong. There is, however, such a thing as constructive criticism. Example:
"Vault space really needs to be increased. It's crippling to our character development to have such little available inventory and I now am in the position of having to scrap weapons due to no space."
VS.
"OMFG bungie you penis gobbling -blam!-ers NERF the last word because I got owned with it in PVP I can't believe you stupid pieces of shit and your gay patches!!!!1111"

Further, I think activision is a greedy crap publisher. That said, I'm simply stating that you can't expect unlimited content for free. Yeah, if you've played the game for 600 hours, it's gonna be boring.

I bought the game, and sure I enjoyed what was given to me. but the amount of stuff they took out just to sell back at $20 a pop, is complete BS. I can only hope that enough people are like me that it takes a toll on Bungie's profit margin to get their attention. This game was good, but it could have been so, so, so much more. If we were given everything up front, with more to come down the line, so be it. But I won't abide this. So I'll shut the hell up right after you f*** off.

Just because businesses are out to make money doesn't mean their chosen business practices are off limits to criticism. If customers feel that their initial value was compromised or lessened in order to squeeze more money out of them they have the right to be vocal about it.

Id be along the lines of "We made a great game" "Look at this guy he got the most kills while sitting in his underwear" "we sold a lot of copies of the dark bello" "Here's some very vague details about what's to come in the 2016 update" "Lol rekt" "Put it in the pooper" "I hope your excited for wolves house" "thx for the pay cheque" Also I like destiny I think it's a good shooter, It's very watered down MMO aspects make the game okay. But taking away 2/3 of the end game content is not cool. And charging 20$ for 3 new maps 2 new "sorry" mission and 1-2strikss depending? Not worth 20$

Nice post but the whinners will never stop whinning. Its sad to say that but its true. I love destiny. Is it perfect no. But look at other games where u get alot less dlc for more money. They try to change things for us and people whine more. Its impossible to make everyone happy. 4 days worth of crying abput exotic resets which are optional. Funny because upon reset ur weapon starts at a higher base damage then it did fully maxed. People need to lighten up and stop jumping to conclusions on here. At least they are trying hard to make most of us happy. At least well have more to do. And it seems like the loot system will get better. Ill be the first to admit after the weekly reset even with 3 charectors u run outta things to do fast. And the game gets boring . But i play alot and for 60 dollars i have gotten way more from destiny than i have from games like cod . Its all preference i guess.

You don't take a car for a test drive, decide to buy it, fork over the money, do the paper work, then we you go back to the car you can't drive off the lot. Looking in the passenger seat you see a note mentioning that the engine is not included in the price of the car. The engine was only in the car for the test drive for your benefit; it saved you time by letting you see how the car would work with an engine in it. Of course, you are welcome to buy one, as engines are offered by the dealer as [b][u]D[/u][/b]ealer [b][u]L[/u][/b]eased [b][u]C[/u][/b]ontent.

Agreed. There's a huge difference between constructive criticism and a shrieking baby in a public place. For something that you enjoy, criticism is intended to improve or add more depth that experience. For instances where you feel cheated or scammed, report it the BBB and see how far that gets you.

I'm pretty sure they cut the content because they had an idea that clowns will be glitching and ruining the game... Why do you think no trading or purchasing is in the game from other players? There is always a will and a way to exploit the game... Some nobody will find a way to ruin it... Just like How the YouTube rs ruined exploits and loot caves with there videos.... None of this is Deej fault or bungies... It's the players... Namely the Pc modders too... I mean how can anyone figure out to trade weapons via system link? How do you even stumble upon that?? So quit pointing fingers at Deej and destiny, all they do is develop the game and fix errors they did not expect to exist in this -blam!-ing game And with the content been cut, that was there own issue... Everyone has been waiting for this game, and they did not want a crash and fall like Gta... Doesn't everyone remember how flawed GTA5 was when it first came out? Did destiny Make that mistake? Are they working there ass off to fix errors some nobody piece of shit found? Deej and them probably played the game the way they were suppose too... Not try there beat to glitch and exploit... If anyone's to blame its the game testers whom probably never would of thought of that shit either Me I'm glad Deej and Bungie actually fix the game... Now they gotta multi task and fix whatever maybe exploited in the Dark Below and still fix the previous content (vault of glass)

By developing a great game and in the process amassing a loyal fan base who will jump on any new content that that specific company comes out with. Guess what, in this method the company still makes money but they don't lose their fan base (aka what bungie was pre destiny) and continue to make money over time. Do you think bungie still has the same reputation now as what they did beforehand? The answer is no. And this also means that less people will be so eager to purchase the next game they come out with after seeing how much shit they pulled/continue to pull in this game
