help me bungie

Why am I getting kicked off of xbox live when playing Destiny? This doesn't happen when I play other games so I know it's something with Destiny. I play on xbox 360 and my GT is the same as on here. I get kicked from XBL randomly while playing. My xbox is hooked up directly to the router and my NAT is open. My brother plays on his 360 right next to me and uses the same router and has no connection problems whatsoever. How can I fix this?? Also I get Caterpillar and hawk error codes sometimes right before I lose connection to XBL but mostly I lose connection to XBL without an error code. Please help.

  • If you and your brother are playing at the same time you are going to have to tweak your network settings. You need to set up both consoles with their own static IP, stop port forwarding, and just set both of those static IPs to DMZ. If you have the option of changing your bandwidth threshold, put both IP's to 50 (default should be 100)

    • Same thing is happening to me right now. This has never happened to me before either. I tried to do the same mission six times and I get kicked out before I even get to the next room full of enemies. I've tried doing other missions or crucible, but then I keep getting the caterpillar error. Every other device in my house is having ZERO problems with the internet. This is completely Bungie's servers fault.
