I constantly hear that people say devils lair is impossible On nightfall.
I disagree. How hard is it for you? Can you solo it?

1 ReplySrs? Its so easy.. Stand on the top platform to the left. You only get bothered by 2 Shanks, two separate times. Theres a crate looking thing on the platform you can stand behind that blocks Sepiks' blasts, too.
-
1 ReplyIn the refinery just hang out in the hive tunnel and it will be easy

Edited by MlNGIE: 11/20/2014 5:45:46 PMLet them come to you, oh and make sure u have solar and arc damage weapons at hand
-
Difficult, only cause the Waves are a Waiting game, and I have Zero patience in live
-
The 3 waves are a waiting game. The rest is a breeze.
-
Other than the 3 waves of mobs when hacking, I beat the Devils Walker & Septiks Prime within 4 mins. Shxt was a walk in the park.
-
Hard to solo, needs patience (not the gun) easy with a good team... People just need to learn the strike well, anyone who's struggling I'd just suggest watching a video of someone doing it and take some tips.
-
Not impossible by any means. Just need a good partner or two and your golden. We did it with one dude not even being able to hear us at all so ya. Everyone has done this stupid strike so everyone should know how it's done but still easy enough if you know some tactics and cheap hiding spots. ;)
-
I found it relatively easy, especially if you take advantage of the burn
-
They just upped the anger of those dang fallen, they don't play anymore. Not really too much harder just can't be wreck less any longer
-
I used vision of confluence for taking down solar shield, p&t and the swarm. I solo'd the walker in under a minute, took down sepiks prime in under 3 minutes, and trashed everything in between. I'm sorry but this nightfall is easy, simple as, if you're struggling to solo it, you are not playing conservatively enough. if you leave yourself out in the open you are dead, doesn't matter how good you are or what weapons you have, there are too many and they are too strong. This week's nightfall is even worse due to arc damage fallen lock on weaponry, you need to take cover before your screen is flashing red if there are white orbs coming in your direction. Learn the safe spots, stick to them and make sure you have ammo synthesis. Call it cheesing if you like, but until somebody shows me a video of somebody aggressively soloing the nightfall, I'll not believe it's even possible.
-
Solo'd on both of my toons. Then again, I have Fatebringer, P&T, Plan C, Arc Swarm all maxed. Plus, I'm 30.
-
Very easy prime went down before shanks could come out two man we use time and thunderlord with weapons of light
-
10 RepliesThey will probably close the doors on the room on the left hand side when you walk into the Septiks Prime fight soon, since people go in there for cover and can still die in their like the Akron Priest cover under the platform. It's obviously an exploit, not a strategy and should be fixed. Please note I am being sarcastic
-
I found it to be the most difficult nightfall to solo so far. Keep in mind I do not have an arc primary. It certainly wasn't impossible. The arc burn made it very easy to get yourself killed if you weren't careful. With a group of three it was pretty darn easy tho.
-
1 ReplyI have solo'd many of the other NF's but for whatever reason this one I am finding difficult.
-
3 RepliesI soloed it. Fatebringer, patience and time and a rocket launcher with arc damage and tracking missiles. All of them maxed out. Difficult but doable.
-
Edited by AsylumxX: 11/20/2014 4:57:27 PMSoloed it with fatebringer and patience n time. Was 1-3 hitting everything, No cheese spots its easy as is and this is the first nightfall I actually enjoyed doing xD

I'm lookin for two more people to help a brother out with nightfall. Message my GT if you are down. GT: TDS jump you Xbox ONE
-
Took me and a friend about 30 mins without returning to orbit
-
3 RepliesI beat the nightfall in 10minutes timed. We all had weapons of light and Fatebringer/P&T The tank died in about 10 seconds
-
Fate bringer and pat game over...
-
My team cleared it in 19 minutes. 10 or 15 were spent in the first area, 1 minute for the tank, 2 minutes to clear the enemies after the tanks, and 30 seconds to kill prime (friend used WoD with weapons of light. I used plan c, he used the culling with arc damage, and the other person used PaT)
-
Yep like the last guy said, once you get past the laser wall and waves of mobs it's clear sailing.
-
One you get past the waves it takes like 5 min to kill the Walker and sepiks lol
