10 RepliesI don't get people's infatuation with paying again for an old game. Regardless how much fun you had in the past. It will lack the same luster it had when you first started playing years back. IMO memories are always best lived in your head.

They better still have swat for halo 2. My favorite ever. I think I spent more hours in swat than all other games I've played multiplayers combined.

That doesn't mean I acknowledge the fact that 4 games, a digital series, a multiplayer beta, 100+ maps with all the DLC isn't a damn good deal for 60 bucks. I've moved on from Halo. It feels outdated, don't care for arcade gameplay anymore, overplayed all of them already as it is. Don't feel the need to go back to any of them except the one that doesn't come with it. When they release a Halo Reach port, i'll probably buy that because I think the the vision they had for Reach could truly be achieved on the Xbox one with large scale battles, forge, ect. Unfortunately there is no Reach, so i'm going to pass on this one. I'll keep playing Destiny for now.

I can't wait! I used to play Halo 1 and 2 at LAN parties in high school a ton. I was a PS guy then, so I never got to really fully experience anything before Halo 3, and even then, I ended up playing my college roommate's H3 and ODST. I didn't end up getting an xbox until months after Reach came out. I loved what 343 did with CEA, so I can't wait to see what H2A is going to be. We get all the games in one hub with no need to transition to a new game, we get campaign playlists, 100 multiplayer maps, 4-player co-op for ALL 4 games, Halo nightfall, Halo 5 beta, completely new H2 cutscenes, 6 newly updated maps...I mean, it's easily a $200+ value for $60. My only hope is that they offer ODST and Reach as DLC. I freakin' loved ODST.

At first I wasn't going to get it because I believed 343 pooped the bed with H4 but now that I've seen and read up on the new features that are ACTUALLY BEING SHIPPED WITH THE GAME INSTEAD OF BEING ADDED LATER AS DLC, I'm hyped as hell. TrueSkill ranking, a story I know is great and love, awesome graphics and even better cinematic, this game will be great. You can tell 343 put real thought and love into an amazing franchise instead of just throwing a bunch of sh-- together at the last second and shipping into in chunks for later DLC.
