Destiny Level Cap!
Recently I have been hearing a lot of people talking about the level cap for destiny. Some people have been saying that the level/ranking system should be higher for guardians that want to stand out. What do you think?

Have no problem with the current system, having a system that raises the level based on gear is better than just a static level system. Everyone can get 20 easy getting to 30 shows some dedication and it will naturally raise once higher gear is introduced in the expansions.

1 ReplyI would prefer a levelling system like Diablo 3. For people who don't know it's, after you hit the cap you start gaining paragon level so my monk is level 70 paragon 150.

How do you know it will not go above 30 in the future. Give the game some time it's only been out for a month.

cap is 20. Light level is determined by gear. So either the increase the quality of level 20 gear, or they increase the level cap to let's say 25. With exponential growth, level 25 could possibly yield light levels beyond 40.

Theoretically there are light levels past 30, just no armor available with enough light to do so. As they add more/better armor with higher values levels will be all over the place. Can't wait

No point changing if the enemies are maxed at 28. Pretty sure, at a guess, that with the contract they have that the cap will change when dlc becomes available. The game hasnt been out long and still has a long way to go. Bungie are studying us and the ai to make the game better for us and more profitable for them
