It obviously needs some adjustments. It's awesome for pve. Broken from a PvP perspective. Say what you will but one guy/gun shouldn't be able to singlehandedly decide the outcome of a match. There needs to be similar footing for PvP for simple balance reasons. The PvP is fairly insta gib as it is. That's getting to the point of ridiculousness.

4 RepliesIt's raid gear. Raid gear is always the strongest gear in the game, at least for PvE (this is actually essential - for PvE at the least, the gear MUST be superior to other gear, because that's a fundamental requirement for raid progression). Many MMO's deal with this problem by introducing a PvP stat - something that makes gear more effective in PvP and only PvP, but that has a tendency to make your PvP very gear dependent. So it cannot be universally nerfed. Activity-segregated nerfs are a possibility, but often a poor choice. Perhaps it's worth looking at whether or not the current degree is too much, but certainly the weapon should be more powerful than others.

2 RepliesThe Vex Mythoclast should not be nerfed at all it is super hard to get and whoever can get it deserves to use the great weapon. Two of my friends have it and they think it's fantastic but doesn't ruin the game. In fact, I'm going to face them both in rumble and win the match! Stop complaining and bungie, don't nerf this weapon.
