Huh? I loved every halo CE-3. I don't even refer to reach and 4 as halo.

This would be true if the Halo community had a uniform opinion, rather than a vast diversity of opinions.

I loved all the Halo's and never concidered myself a fan , i was dissapointed in the ending of the fourth , found it anti-climatic for some reason, boss battle sucked, But since all the marty threads talking and posting vids of his music , ive got this nostalgia feelling going. So this weekend im doing all the Halo's till i get jaded lol

I remember for a time when I got tried of Halos space opera and overtly sci fi aspects and just wanted a gritty military shooter, which is why Reach appealed to me early on. Later I realized a gritty military shooter wasnt the reason I liked Halo in the first place and I'm pleased 343 is here to bring back the space opera part.
