Gamers=Fat
Why are gamers portrayed as fat nasty men all the time? Why is it that we are alwasy under that sterotype? I mean I work out almost daily.

People just like to stereotype and assume that because we game we must sit around doing nothing BUT gaming all the time. I'm a stay at home mom of 7, my children are schooled at home through a public virtual school and my husband was in the Marines and now works in a warehouse. At one point I was asked to join MENSA, though I declined. (If you don't know what MENSA is, look it up). We are both very fit physically and about as far from the stereotype as possible. lol! Betcha all would never guess any of that about me! roflmao! ;) [spoiler]All of that is true for the record![/spoiler]

1 ReplyIt might be because a lot of fat people may play video games, or it may be because people who don't play video games see gamers as sitting around and doing nothing which comes across as laziness which leads to obesity.
