So I just setup my new macbook pro and well...minecraft is giving me a black screen and i'm not sure as to why. I actually got it to work once, but now it won't work anymore. Any suggestions?

 • Try going into the files and deleting meta inf This works for fixing blackscreen on mods When you download the launcher, make sure you download the mac version, and not the windows or linnix
get a refund, then buy a win7 PC with at least twice the power for the same price.
This^ While i am not a windows fanboy, nor am i a apple fanboy; i agree with this. Apple has good products, but they are over priced. You can easily get a matched windows pc for lower or a even better one for same price as mac book. Sure windows has its problems, such as viruses ect.. But eventually so will mac. They haven't really been out for that long (since the actual age of personal computers) if you think about it. Eventually they will have all the "problems" windows does. As to a actual answer, i know that minecraft has a different way to be played or something on mac's. Make sure you are using the correct thing. It could possibly be a problem with Java, since macs have had problems with Java before.
