Why do you guys hate your PvP community?
The only thing in this game your PvP players enjoy is Trials. We did not have it last week because of Iron Banner and it is not up this week either because of a mode that, lets be honest, is for PvE players. Putting trials on a 3 week hiatus just isn’t it.
I know i’m going to get a bunch of PvE players responding to this telling me to go f*** myself and Destiny is a PvE game but I dont really care. It is mainly a PvE game but there is also a large PvP community

The sooner PvP players realize this and learn there is no such thing as balance in a RNG based looter shooter that the developer can change what works at any time, the better. Trials is a large reason why the “PvP community” is so bad.

4 RepliesI must admit the pvp community puts up with alot of bs . Had low expectations for heavy metal so no big deal . I wonder how long the hardcore sweats can put up with Quickplay …I am struggling to play 3-4 games .

Admittedly I was upset to know trials was replaced with the heavy metal thing. Especially after iron bannor last week. 💔

I’m pi££ed at this decision. Sandbox finally fixed after months of BS cheese. Huge weekend of Trials to look forward to. Nope. Have some random vehicle mode to play. I do not remember their LinkedIn vibe presentation informing us Trials has been backseated. Honestly these people just can’t get out of their own way.

Seeing they even took that from us/delayed for ANOTHER week, i probably will not even be interested to login next week on friday. Them constantly drip feeding and dictating what and when we can play ruins the flow and makes player like me lose interest. Shooting themselves in the foot. Raid release or dungeon release = no trials. Iron Banner = no trials. Garbage boring tank mode noone enjoys = no trials. Trials player pop = 0 after 3 weeks into a new season.. Bungie: "wow how could that happen"

3 RepliesThe thought has never occurred to me, you know, to tell you to go beep yourself lol. I don't consider myself either a PVE, or PVP player, the new mode is weird, they seem to be inspired by Warframe to do this, Nidus prime access had hit a few months prior, and it had a tank skin in it, doesn't make a lot of sense, until you find out, that a lot of these companies are connected. The new game mode is.. kind of fun, somewhat bland. Maybe they wanted to give a break, the Iron Banner week was grueling for me, and I know it was for many others. I mean clearly it's intended to be fun, and not serious PVP stuff, although, it is proving to be tricky, others are already quite mean to go up against. Don't worry, they don't hate you.

I came back from a break, only to basically play 2 matches of control where we mercy the enemy team then next game I get a bunch of new lights on my team and proceed to get mercied.

Ive had it!!!! I'm going to put together the hundreds and hundreds of absolutely broken non existent hit registration i saved. i have socked them all away over the last few months. Even going to throw in the lack of and intermittent aim asst(ads drag) This is absolutely unacceptable. Maybe after thousands see how ridiculous it has gotten you at Bungie will fix the damn game for all of us not just the chosen few. I watch Bungie... i watch the time it takes other players to get the kill. I watch their shots! I watch after i die,I sit back and watch during matches. I watch my Hellion that doesn't even work anymore, just lands next to players that are basically just standing still. Threadings just wander the hell off right next to the opponent. I deal with that stuff whatever but my guns. Over and over match after match. Every weapon, every secondary,every heavy. I don't even pick up heavy anymore because its a death sentence. Tried heavy last match posted up with 33/600 heavy machine gun against a precision auto riffle with no damage buff , CRAZY didn't even break his shields all the way! Come on!!' Im in NY running 1 gig on a asus rapture router with great ping and perfect flatlined signals, new modem, cat 8s, everything to the pole zero congestion. Time to shed some light on whats going on here. This isn't lag, i know Bungie lag!! This ant it!! Been here for 10 years. This is accuracy manipulation for lag compensation and its time someone throws the salt right back at ya.

4 RepliesDon't expect anything from PvP in Destiny. All PvP devs are focused on Marathon and hopefully Destiny PvP'ers will move to that game.

Destiny has never been a pvp game primarily. Those of you who keep acting as if this game is mainly a pvp game are lying to yourselves.

To be honest, the original Plants vs Zombies on Xbox 360 was a way better and more enjoyable experience even to this day and compared to this mess in 2025…

1 ReplyThis is just more evidence that PvP players will never be satisfied with anything. You gripe and moan about having different modes and things to shake up the game and EVERYTIME Bungie tries something… it just more griping and moaning about how it’s not what “we” want, not what “we”asked for, etc This is not to say they have supported PvP well… should have gotten at least 2-3 maps per expansion. But if you gripe when they DO things and gripe when they DON’T… if I’m Bungie I know which one I’m doing.
