With the changes to the warlocks chest piece, le monarque will one shot in a powering rift, plus you will have wall hacks. Do with that what you will. Maybe ticus will 2 shot body.

They know PvP is better when bows aren't competitive. And I get it. It sucks for people that like bows, but it is what it is. Glaives are (rightfully, IMO) in the same spot.

Bows need to be removed from PvP.

I am reminded of a meme where Mufasa and Simba are represented by Le Monarch & Wishender. Le Monarch(Mufasa) says to Wishender(Simba) "All the land touched by the light is our domain". Wishender(Simba) asks "What about the land over their father." as he gestures to the jagged dark cliffs where their is no sunlight with the words 'The Crucible' over it. Mufasa replies "We do not belong their". Thats how it should be. They have no place in PvP.

The word bow wasn't even in the last two twabs. Bungie doesn't care about bow users because we are by far the minority among any primary camps. Whether or not we can compete is of no consequence. They already appeased the majority on this issue. You can tell by the comments. Hi moon.

Unfortunately, this community would rather see them removed from the game completely, which is such a sh[i]i[/i]t take. I get the whole bow swap thing was an absolute nightmare, but to hate on bows completely because of that, and 2 particular Exotic bows, is absurd. Many of us real bow mains who didn't abuse them like that would like to have bows at least brought up to be on par with the other weapons, not left dead last because of pettiness over some cheap, no-skill [i]a[/i]ssholes who can't play without exploits. A bit more precision damage, or increase ADS, reload, and draw speed would be nice. They were hit way too hard with the nerfs, and this community is way too happy about that. Honestly, this mess could have been handled far better than this. They could have probably worked on creating a new crucible modifier, like they did with the "Notswap" modifier, that would put a delay on swapping after firing a bow, or on firing after swapping, if you have a handcannon and bow equipped. Oh well, I managed to find a bow that actually is pretty good now that the others have been knocked down to near uselessness: Ticuu's Divination. I'm actually surprised bow mains haven't started using it. [spoiler]Just to clarify, the cheap, no-skill [i]a[/i]ssholes I'm referring to are those that crutched on bow/handcannon swapping, Le Monarque, and Wish-ender for easy wins. Although I myself used Le Monarque up until recently, it was simply because I really liked it since I got it in Season of the Forge, before it started becoming a problem.[/spoiler]

A viable solution is to keep le monarch and wishender where they are which was a good balance I believe, But increase lightweight and precision damage by a bit, the registration seems bad now too, and the range even feels like it got hit on lightweight. They just need a bit of love on the legendary side

Usually I hate nerfs…. But I celebrated pretty hard when bows got hit

Most of the people I play are dumb enough to peek me after getting headshot by my bow so I think they're fine

They don’t even need anything crazy. Leave the exotics in the dump and just give a slight damage buff to precision frame legendaries so they can 1 head 1 body again

Bungie just nerfed all of them when there were only 2 exotics and 1 playstyle that needed adjustments. Bow swapping was rightfully nuked. But Wish-Ender and LeMon were the only 2 bows with any sort of usage. Wish-Ender has PERMANENT WALL HACKS, and Le Mon has crazy overtuned stats. Adjusting these pain points: - dropping LeMon’s accuracy to be in line with other Lightweight Bows - putting Wish-Ender’s wall hacks on a 3s timer before needing to be fully re-drawn Would’ve been more than enough, but Bungie just decided to nuke them. And they’re even being impacted negatively in PvE too.

They need an entire rework to be fair in PVP. I would love to see them reintroduced as properly balanced special weapons.
