We heard you didn't like Battlegrounds , so we got you some Battlegrounds for your Battlegrounds
And those who keep saying "Battlegrounds Are Strikes" , congratulations, you are part of the problem , excusing Bungie to fill the strike playlist with monotonous tedious kill all enemies to progress sections unpopular seasonal modes , instead of porting good strikes from D1 or making more than 1 a year , where is The Pyramidion, Strange Terrain etc, no we get more seasonal hord modes
Saying a Battleground is a Strike , is like saying an Orange is an Apple
COMPLETELY agree. Most of them are just sit around and shoot endless spawns of adds for a while. Then move to another area close by and do it again.
At least Onslaught changed it up and was a little more interesting. Battlegrounds are just sit here and kill stuff for a while. Now sit over here and kill stuff for a while. SO BORING.
I honestly can't believe how they can possibly look at feedback and player activity then say, "Players really want MORE Battlegrounds!"
They apparently want to blur the line of what a Battleground and a Strike is, while "pushing the limits" of how many enemies are spawned and having even longer damage gates.
The gameplay in the background was very clearly sit-in-one-area-and-wait just like a typical Battleground. When you hear the word "Strike" it brings to mind something quick or fast, not a drawn out battle for territory.
I can appreciate fighting our way to the center of Nessus, so I am looking forward to that, but it seems we are just getting more of the same while doubling down on what is pushing players away.
