Need Fatebringer
What’s a good legendary hand cannon alternative to Fatebringer? I haven’t been on a raid since D1 and I have to use access controllers so I’m afrad people would boot me. Using Austringer now that reminds me of the feel but definitely not FB.

Update: played today and after the game not giving me a hand cannon the rng gods smiled upon me
DFA outlaw/timed payload, crimson and sun shot dropped😂

Just remind me, I don’t really play the game slot anymore. Just hmu when master vog is out.

Controllers aren't an issue people would only kick you if you didn't bring a mic. In fact like 90% of raiders play on console and use a controller (Mostly because like 95% of the game is console). As for good none raid alternatives Eyasluna, Warden, Austringer, it's not in the game rn but if it comes back Palindrome are all good choices.

For leg, EPOCHAL INTEGRATION is a fixed roll and has some firefly energy with Incandescent, also looks very cool 👌, there’s better options but easily good enough for anything that a handcannon is viable in 👍

On a VoG week you can just sneak in there on a Templar farm post. Just bring decent dps and a well or bubble or etc. pretty easy to farm master Templar with a good group.

If my clan still played it would be very easy to get you a fatebringer adept next time VOG is the raid for the week. Templar is very easy to farm. I’m sure there is a clan or group on here that would run Templar on master a few times with you.

OP: crimson / ace / malfeasance / rose / spare rats / dire promise / etc. are all good and obtainable. Gunsmith daily drops + other vendors’ world drops / upgrade items. Legacy weapons available between the two vault access points in the tower. Check your vault…there might be stuff in there. Check your history and see what you can reacquire from those menus. Comp - do 3x runs for the pulse reward and to farm Rose / sniper. Have fun! 👈 🫡

You can buy Sturm or Not Forgotten (an oldie but a goodie) at the Monument of Lost Lights in the Tower. Or the king of hand cannons, Ace of Spades !! If you're in a clan, get a group and farm it when it's available. I spent a night farming, got 2 dozen of them and scored God rolls for pvp and pve. Bear in mind, "feel" can be a deal breaker with hand cannons. Try them all out. Some you'll like and some you won't. I love Rose for how snappy it is, but I hate Thorn because it feels sloppy. You'll discover your own favourites. Good luck !

Rose HC with the right pvp roll in my opinion is the best alternative to fatebringer.

3 RepliesEyasluna 100%. People sleep on that gun so much and I have no clue why because I think it's awesome. If you get the 30th Anniversary Pack you can farm the last dungeon encounter (it's called Grasp of Avarice) for a good roll. I have a few so far myself, and my favorite is Sureshot, High-Calibur Rounds, Rapid Hit/Perpetual Motion, a range masterwork, and Kill Clip. It also gets Headstone (is that what it's called?) so it can work with Stasis builds if that's your thing. If you're in the Crucible a good Eyasluna can easily contest with and even outgun a Fatebringer whether it's the Timelost version or not.

Rose can get explosive payload and spare rations can get kinetic tremors. Both are probably the most obtainable alternatives. Austringer is good too and can get rampage. The thing with fatebringer is that it essentially get double perks in firefly as well as explosive payload/fremzy which combos that strong are generally reserved for raid or dungeon weapons.

You can get it without Raiding via Riven's Wishes and the free LW chests, or you could do the Kalli farm that is so easy that you could simply not participate and people wouldn't notice. Craftable, solid base stats and good perks - namely Dragonfly with Explosive Payload or Voltshot.

In the kinetic slot I'd reccomend either rose or eyasluna. For energy weapons probably nation of beasts or zaoulis bane if you've got them

2 RepliesI'm assuming you are using a very specific exotic right now. Otherwise, malfeasance is a pretty great option for kinetic hand cannons.
