    Management is what has fooled most of you into buying all these years. They may not be what some would like them to be, but I can't help but think how many of you have fallen for their nonsense all this time. Funny how people on this forum don't want to take responsibility for their own actions knowing a lot of you kept throwing money at the screen giving this business the okay, you keep running this game to the ground because I'll support you no matter what. Some may not like what I post, but I really don't care. I rather point out the truth than lie to myself as many as you have. "If I keep throwing money at the screen, things will get better".

      Funny how they mentioned trust...."first you get players trust, then increase that players retention, then you get the revenues". They are LITERALLY doing the same song and dance lol They are back at the trust stage.

      • Absolutely true! In almost every industry, middle management are clone-like zombies with very low IQ’s. It’s terrible. We need to ditch this generation of managers.

          Especially since it's obvious that alot of these layoffs were timed to deny employees there share of the Sony buyout money

              • Sure…. Because they came down from the mountain top and personally made Lightfall what it was. Nimbus was Pete’s idea. Give me a break. The infamous “ difficulty increase “. Bounties, Seasonal challenges, story, quests, rewards, drop rates, reskins, the FOMO momento. Everything you engage with daily in game is dev related. The people with the power to fire Salvatori have likely never played the Vexcaliber mission etc. The game we play is the devs game and they are to blame. Us not getting a Destiny 3 or a bigger expansion ok… blame management. But Lightfall, Seasons and the systems sucking totally on the devs. And that’s what drove people away.

                  • All we know is what was written. While it isn’t exactly pretty there’s another side of this we haven’t heard. If bungie was carrying too much payroll then trimming the fat is well within a companies right to do so. Don’t scream it’s not fair when you signed up knowing it could happen. Plus, lost in all this is the people let go got a severance. Shitty companies don’t do that. You wanna not play bungie games but play someone else’s go ahead, but I guarantee you that in your life your “supporting” more companies that treat their employees far far worse than what happened at bungie.

                    • Show me an executive at any company and I’ll show you an arrogant, selfish -blam!-. You think they’re nice people that play by the rules getting to where they are in life? It’s when they’re incompetent and selfish that it becomes an issue. And the incompetent idiots in the Bungie boardroom that thought were smarter than everyone else let the franchise and company die. Now they’re robbing the company for as much as they can get before they get Theo golden parachute and go look for other companies to destroy.

                        • Managers can be bad but in my experience they're people with a lesser skillset the company can spare. Genuine talent is rarely wasted in non-productive rolls because real talent IS rare. I've worked in many industries over decades and competent managers that have the knowledge AND real skills? yeah unicorns.
