outside of that one time you allowed us to purchase 2 alloys for the cost of 1, i can't really think of a time where you properly compensated players for game issues that heavily inconvenience players. I played Phantasy Star Online 2 for a good few months early in the pandemic and one thing that I felt was very refreshing and appreciated was the amount of compensation all players got for their mishaps. free loot, currency and consumables. I know this SCREAMS entitlement, but honestly I feel strongly that its something you all need to consider.
Considering that these bugs are getting more severe, more frequent, and lasting longer with the piling spaghetti code, wouldn't it be a good idea to start enforcing a policy where stuff like exotics disabled, missing armor slots, broken general gameplay such as the resilience glitch earlier this season, and QoL improvements that come late for some players such as the 50-champion fiasco, it might benefit all parties involved to give the players some love. Free eververse silver, fistfuls of legendary shards, prisms, exotic engrams, bonus experience, is this honestly too much to ask?
Here's an example: when you finally fix the artifice gear (genuinely surprised this bug has lasted this long), Something like an ascendant shard for each armor piece effected to allow us to feel compensated & also incentivized to get new armor with the masterwork cost mostly covered. Or a blanked reward for all players of a couple shards in case player targeting those effected is too much to set up. Resilience bug that heavily impacted players in the week where it was most important? bonus experience for 20 season ranks. What do you all think?

I’ve played a lot of games where devs give bug compensation rewards. bungi is not one of those devs.

Eh there may be some exceptions, but for the most part the only time I feel we’d be owed anything for a bug is if it prevented us from getting something guaranteed. And then all we’d be owed is the thing we should have got. Anything above and beyond that is just that, going above and beyond. Not that Bungie couldn’t. But we shouldn’t expect it. Otherwise it ceases to be going above and beyond.

Someone wants to speak to the manager

Don't hold your breath

While a good company would probably do that... Bungie would / will not...

Video game reparations…. Lol, get over yourself.

I doubt they would ever give out silver but definitely should hand out a bright engram or two since getting duplicates is not supposed to be a thing.
