You trashed the one warlock class that was amazing for PvP. Now its just PVE for warlocks.

No one should need to be a top player for something to be good. Most people aren’t top players. I’m not, and the vast majority of people playing the game aren’t either. Things should be fun and effective regardless of skill level, and made more effective with high skill level. There should always be a lot of ways for skillful players to get more use out of things, I’m not arguing against that. I’m also not saying the game should hold your hand, but instead that things should flow and work together well in a cohesive manner that don’t put the player at a disadvantage. Most things on Dawnblade put you at a disadvantage lol. I mean Daybreak in PvE is an absolute joke in any scenario. Being in the air like the class wants you to be is a death sentence in any content outside of patrols and regular strike playlists. Only ways to heal yourself are multi kills with Icarus equipped in the air, or consuming a grenade. Either way there’s only one play style that’s decent and it’s near impossible to benefit from the Icarus healing unless heat rises is equipped, and heat rises always requires airtime to fully take advantage of. Touch of Flame is an afterthought because you’re either consuming the Grenade to heal ir activate heat rises, or if Icarus is the other aspect, you’re not taking full advantage of the Icarus healing because you don’t have the buffs you get from being in hair with heat rises. Dawnblade had little-to-no synergy outside of a single build and people are tired of being Well bots, just how Titans were tired of being Domebots. At least Sentinel has an extremely fun and well functioning neutral game. Dawnblade does not.

2 RepliesThey nerfed dawnblade and stasis to the ground, last week another nerf to stasis with whisper of chain. warlock have 0 subclass in top 5 subclasses, it's a pve class now. I play all classes,800+ hours on titan and hunter,1k+ on warlock, warlock is the trash pvp one.

5 RepliesAll of 3.0 is like that. It’s totally weird. Every subclass only seems to have fancy 3.0 pictures. Warlocks got hit the hardest. And the fun titans and hunters experienced will be nerfed. 3.0 feels more poorly executed fresh paint with them fancy pics in the configuration menu. It’s more like a shiny .50
-
It did make things better, for hunters and titans lol. I personally feel giving all classes a healing grenade was the biggest mistake in solar 3.0. That definitely needed to be a solar warlock exclusive since the class is supposed to be all about being a support. Bungie talks all this BS about class identity but its clear they have no idea what they are doing. Even in arc 3.0, you would think the titan aspect that boost grenades would be a warlock thing, but nope. I don’t even know what a warlocks identity is anymore, its all over the place.

2 RepliesGo play a different game cry lock

I really don't have any issue with the class in general, except that Phoenix dive has close to a 2 mins cooldown. Even with next to no build crafting you have nigh infinite class and melee energy uptime and infinite grenades if you opt into a Elemental or Charged with light build. My main issue is the Daybreak super is hella -blam!- even WITH Dawn Chorus. You could literally throw everything (scorch, Ignition, tractor cannon etc) at Daybreak and it'll still do less damage than a handful of fusion grenades. When I can out damage a buffed up super using an exotic that's supposed to make it better just by throwing a few fusion grenades... We have an issue. Heck, if anything Light 3.0 essentially power crept all roaming supers out of existence in pve. Our melee and grenade abilities do so much damage and ad clear with so much uptime you're better off not using your super for anything other than for special ammo finisher or something. Daybreak needs to Scorch by default and have Chorus ignite, or have Chorus extend the super on ignition kills or something so it actually last long enough to clear a room or deal decent damage. Or, I'd opt they just scrap it all together and just give Warlock the Harvester Scythe as our roaming super. It can scorch. It can ignite. It has a tracking projectile and it can spawn healing orbs. It's the Pinnacle weapon for a healer/support class with the urge to burn things.

Sounds like a skill issue, it's fine 🤷🏻♂️

2 RepliesEdited by NotCreative123: 9/4/2022 2:22:47 AMSolar 3.0 Warlock is still a top-tier Crucible choice. Easily top 3 subclass. Don't know why you dislike it
-
14 RepliesFunny how everyone complaining about warlock 3.0 are peoples with low man clan and can't do end game stuff ... You guys just can't build properly
-
5 Repliesclearly you don’t know your subclass
-
What…if…we… just got subclass 1.0. Cause those were amazing times. *sighs in fear of arc hunters*
-
Dawnblade is amazing what?
-
5 Replies
You trashed the one warlock class that was amazing for PvP. Now its just PVE for warlocks.
How bad does someone have to be to think dawnblade is bad?
-
its not even worth using in PvE either..
-
Dawnblade is still the best PvP Warlock class imo.
-
Subclasses 3.0 have been a nightmare for Warlocks. Warlocks need a ritual to cleanse themselves of this nightmare, call Eris Morn. 3.0 has been nothing but what can we take from Warlocks and give to the hunters and titans? And give them nothing in return.
-
3 RepliesThe only thing bad about dawnblade in crucible right now is the 10 minute base cooldown.
-
2 RepliesThat seems like a cap. Dawnblade is still really strong in PvP, but it suffers from having one of the longer cooldowns. WoR, despite not really being able to shut down supers, is super good in all other scenarios. Voidwalker has always been solid in PvP, and that hasn’t changed. The abilities for Stasislock are great, but it has longer cooldowns for everything, and that turns off a lot of people since the floor is higher than most subclasses. Now I haven’t played with Arc 3.0 locks in PvP. I know the neutral is good in PvE, but the supers suck. And honestly, Stormcaller feels much easier to bring down than any other class in PvP, and my guess is chaos reach is good, but nothing special.

To be honest, all it needs is a healing aspect that makes benevolent dawn intrinsic- it should’ve never become a fragment
-
Solar 3.0 took warlocks from easily teamwiping the team half over to balanced wow. Now we just need t9 nerf deadshot on Golden Gun, the refunding bullet bit
-
5 RepliesIt was never good
-
3 RepliesVoidwalkers!
-
2 RepliesNow that all the 3.0 subclasses are out it seems they were designed to be sidegrades not upgrades. Bungie doesn't seem to have much of a plan in place for what and where they want things to go. So in response to positive feedback with regards to stasis, they just copy and pasted it into everything else
-
1 ReplyWell I just had a guy tell me that my titan is inferior to warlocks and hunters so there you go. Dawn blade OP confirmed please nerf 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
-
9 RepliesYour tripping man, its better then ever for pvp. We still have heat rises and icarus dash, and on top of that we have phoneix dive. I agree the cooldown for dive is too long but still at least we have it. Together it makes the ultimate movement combo in the game. Heat rises - double dodge - dive. Do you know how many sticky situations I have gotten out of by dashing into a dive. We have healing nades which synergize perfectly with the build and give you a burst of healing when you activate heat rises. Plus we get to run well for trials capture zone, I mean what more do you want man?
