Savathûn, creator of The Awoken
The Traveler and The Darkness battle it out. Last stand. The Traveler unleashed its power against the Pyramid but failed to stop it. Disabling itself. Yet we now know this was not the truth. Savathûn faked The Traveler’s death and hid it from The Darkness. That same moment The Exodus Green was “caught” in the middle and become The Awoken.
She keeps a lot of irons in the fire, our Witch Queen. Maybe we got this all backwards....
A dream of a purely material world, adrift in the true cosmos of Light and Dark...

Well here's some things I ponder... Savvy is cunning... Savvy was essentially Osiris... Savvy could use the network... Savvy achieved something in the festering core, something that dealt with sight... Savvy had her eyes watching... That being said, I think the three have achieved much.

Why can Ghosts use Darkness if they are just spawn of the Traveler? I think there's more to their creation than we know and SOMEHOW Savathun is involved.

7 RepliesSavathûn’s deception against the Witness had nothing to do with the anomaly that affected the Exodus Green. That was a legitimate clash of paracausal forces, as seen in the fact that the Awoken are legitimately imbued with both Light and Dark. Savathûn doesn’t have that level of foresight, why do you think she wanted control of the Vex so bad?

Savathun had nothing to do with the creation of the Awoken. That was purely from the clash of Light. vs. Dark.

1 ReplyThat's a load of Rubbish. Mara Clearly states, Darkness is her Father, and Light is her Mother. She was the First through the Wormhole and First to the Distributary. Savathun is Powerful, but she had Zero involvement in the Creation of the Awoken.

But in that other thread you said parasite quest confirms your theory. Here are the actual lore cards. Short version. No. Parasite quest only implies Savathun faked the travelers death so the witness would stop killing everyone. And Savathun had nothing to do with awoken creation. Unless you finally found that lore card. They were created by a beam. But by going through a singularity caused by light and dark energy colliding. If Savathun fired a beam it wouldn’t be light. And if she faked the travelers death then it firing a beam after it pretended to die would kind of give away that it was alive. 1 ReplyI don't think she expected the awoken to be created or a pocket dimension. Those things were just happy accidents that she would later exploit. If anything her original plan was to save and hide the traveler until she figured out how to exploit its power against the Witness and its forces.

Ummm. The singularity was essentially the result of the beam struggle between light and dark. Savathun only made it looo like the traveler lost… later.
