Powered melee should not be overridden/depowered by aim assist!

I realize that I'm advocating for something that might possibly (at worst) sideline some like Khepri's Sting, but this is especially problematic on console where your mapping is limited and auto-melee is often stuck to. The Titan's mallet (solar) and Hunter's smoke bomb (void)/knife (solar) I can confirm are affected -- don't ask me about Stasis as mine are still locked (=Exo Heroic), but don't hesitate to add in. I've already mentioned in another thread concerning aim assist (that still isn't optional since Day 1!) how bad it is. The problem is that if you need a powered melee like a smoke bomb and have a full bar, you cannot properly use it until you've cleared the ability from any nearby enemies. If you do, AA (if it detects an in-range enemy) will target the closest viable target with an unpowered melee, which is made worse by suction -- that unpowered melee won't pull the target to you, it will pull you to them. And if you're airborne above a grounded enemy... >:( Its like youre fighting 1) the enemy before you, and 2) you yourself. This is made worse by a secondary problem -- some enemies will be hyperaggressive, pursuing you as you attempt to flee, keeping themselves in-range. The video pretty much says everything. --- Another case: Tried to use a solar Warlock melee while backpedaling, hoping to clear the enemies from my face. Pretty sure Blackout (no radar) was in effect as well. Tried to melee... You can guess the rest.
