I've just spent 8-9 hours non-stop to get the solo Duality triumph to increase my sword odds and every f-ing time I'm killed by the bell, THE BELL a core f-ing mechanic! how has this not been fixed I feel like I've literally wasted an entire day just trying to kill Caiatl and when I even came close to around 20% BOOM another -blam!- bell death.
I've tried standing in different locations, Close, mid and long range combat it doesn't matter whatever you do you will die regardless. What's the point in giving a necessary perk to increase the exotic odds if you can't even complete it? We don't have Classy restoration anymore so I can't go double secondaries without being blown to hell. I just can't believe it hasn't been sorted in over 2 months. I'll killed over 4,129 enemies... What am I supposed to do??? What a joke...
OH and on top of that, I'm gonna give up and leave and will have to start the entire dungeon from scratch AGAIN. What a great idea to have it done all in one sitting.
Edit: Added video proof of bug in link.

This wiped us four times today.

My favorite part of the buggy nature of the Duality Dungeon is at the final encounter when you're on a platform to get ready to grab a standard (over in the Nightmare Realm) and when you transfer over the game randomly decides to just teleport you *into* one of the Collossus standing at either end, inta-killing you. It seems rather obvious that the game is buggy when it comes to deciding where to place your character when transitioning you between the Nightmare Realm and the normal realm.

1 ReplyEdited by BSGame: 9/1/2022 1:38:05 AMBungie's Season of the Plunder known issues has one thing for season of the haunted content. There is nothing to do with duality. I doubt they will ever fix it; Duality dungeon although great idea is probably the worst dungeon out of them all, especially for solo flawless. - [Biggest problem] Extremely high rate of death by Bell mechanic when going into the nightmare realm. Pair that with at least 2x more a solo player has to use the bells than in a fireteam. - Extremely long encounters for solo. ~15-20 minutes or more. Compare that to other dungeons solo. - Random death by an explosive tank backpack on the ground kills you with insane one-shot damage. They stay there indefinitely. The first 2-3 weeks I completed solo easily, but I did not try to run it for solo flawless, which I greatly regret now. It doesn't seem like bungie will ever fix this Dungeon any time soon, and it is not a priority for them. - Either that, or they probably don't even know how to fix it with all of the tweaks they did during last season, which is what it seems to me the reason it made it so buggy. I won't be attempting solo flawless any time soon.

8 RepliesImpossible? I soloed it. Got the title to prove it...

yup me and my buddy were running it and we just die to bell mechanic (going from normal realm to nightmare) for no reason so stupid.

Yeah, I've been trying to solo it for several weeks now. This is a very big problem and it seems to happen the longer you're in the dungeon (at least for me). Incredibly frustrating, and it's a shame that bungie hasn't been more reactive to this issue. I don't know if they have, but I've been unable to find anything on them even acknowledging this as an issue.

12 RepliesI've never died from the bell and I completed my solo run in the last week of last season. I always stand right up close to it and hip fire my smg. If you are having trouble with survivability without classy resto, switch to loreley titan.

6 Repliesnot to be that guy, but it is possible to do solo, people have done it thing is, its not meant for solo players, all you get is a emblem and bragging rights
