I have been experiencing during vanguard strikes or dares of eternity, players that are purposely trying to kill me via sparrow or whatever that sword is that has the rush/charge ability. It is super annoying and not cool why would you do that? Is anyone else experiencing this?

1 ReplyYeah, people troll… but it’s Bungie’s fault for allowing in-game physics to cause friendly-fire deaths. In the beginning of D1 it was the Solar Wind melee, Bungie fixed that after like a month. I guess at some point they just stopped caring.

1 ReplyAgree they are bunch of idiots . You wanna do that with friends or a clan have at it but don’t be doing that -blam!- to randoms who could be doing bounties, catalysts, triumphs etc in PvE. You bored and wanna kill people game mode called Crucible or Gambit go see how many u can kill there. Pretty sorry if you only play to mess up other peoples runs , really gotta look at your life and maybe find a new game ..

It's funny

Are they doing it during the mission, or post-mission? One I see as harmless screwing around, the other is active sabotage if done repeatedly or in Restricted Zones.

5 RepliesMy guess? Kids from... the game which must not be named, are entering D2 thanks to the collaboration and they are just here to troll.

2 RepliesEdited by KRoMXiTo: 8/31/2022 12:41:14 PMWhen that happens, i just wait for them to die (they will die bcause they are all trash). Then, instead of reviving them, i just stop and explain why what they do is harrassment towards other players. They just reply “is just for laughs”. Then i reply “ **** off now you stay there dead, enjoy the karma” They get angry and then i say “come on dude is just for the laughs!!” Then i jump off a ledge and restart the fight. Once and again until they leave. Then i happily complete the mission. I love delivering karma.

2 RepliesMy friends and I try to do that to each other often in strikes. It’s funny. But doing it to random people is just rude. But that’s just how some people are. They get way too much enjoyment out of ruining the experience for others. If Patrol zones suddenly became PvP zones, they’d be in the cosmodrome killing new lights. They’re pathetic.

Ya ive noticed that as well. Usually i laugh it off but when someone kills me on purpose and than dies, I just walk over to the ghost and emote till they rez
-
1 ReplyProbably because everything in the game is stale beyond belief at this point so they're trying to entertain themselves.
-
I’ve been killing other players via any means necessary since the original launch of the Destiny1 where certain weapons could kill teammates. I shall continue to do so with whatever I’m capable of using
-
I would have kept doing it but I somehow accidentally deleted my half truths

It’s a good mechanic. Don’t take it to seriously, remover it’s just a video game.

4 RepliesSparrow killing I'm okay with, you had to really catch me lacking. If I exit my vehicle on the expressway, I can expect to get creamed. This sword business.. there's a right way and a wrong way. Had someone in ketchcrash farming a teammate (reviving and instakilling) so I equipped mine, served justice, dropped a 🪦💐 emote, revived the victim and carried on. The smallPP tried his hardest to kill me throughout the rest of the activity. I still had it equipped next go.. so after everyone hit the chest at the end and was leaving.. well it was a massacre. No one was saw it coming. A bloodbath. Seriously though, I have accidentally slayed many guardians using that sword, unintentionally blocking jumps or exits with stasis crystals. I usually revive then suicide as recompense.

You use to be able to hold people hostage with a vex head in dares. Good times

Edited by ISuvy: 9/1/2022 2:47:14 PMhow does nobody find that hilarious in casual playlists like vanguard strikes and dares, i laugh my -blam!- off if im killed by it, all the more funnier when they t-bag. because afterwards it's just a match of who can kill the other more effectively. i never ever do this in Nightfalls or anything that has locked equipment, i want to contribute to the team while having fun, if im in a raid and i know the people im with. i will deff kill them at a parkour area (non darkness zone)

Once is pretty funny tbh. I don't do it if if with random but my friends and I will absolutely engage in shoulder charge shenanigans against each other

I had someone kill me at the start of scarlett keep , so when we got to the top of the Tower I made my way to the edge, saw them line up there sword, then I jumped has they swung , I got to watch them fall to there death , and got to tbag and emote there ghost fool me once, shame on you, but you arent fooling me twice M f e r -
5 RepliesAnd yet ppl want MM in Nightfalls and raids..

Seen it happen a few times to players who rush an activity and don't wait for teammates to rally and stuff. I'm not mad about it. It's a nice little reminder that other players exist in an activity, for people who want to solo in co-op content with no regard for their team.

I remember playing with this dbag in PVP and he was just running around shoulder charging our team off of the map/into walls. Lol

2 RepliesGot killed by some Eager Edge Eegit the other day in Ketch Crash. Griefing and should be bannable if abused too much. Stopping people working on triumphs and enjoying the game.
-
2 RepliesRecently experienced it. I assume they find it funny or something. The worst part is if you have a bounty "kills with no deaths" and here comes an idiot ruining it. I wished there would be an option to Block a player and never play with them again. Doubt any decent D2 member would want to play with people like that.

9 RepliesYou sound like a lot of fun

4 RepliesIt sucks, and yes I've had players do this to me too. Report them for Griefing and re-queue for another activity. It's rare for me to see someone like that though, could be because I'm in Canadian lobbies
