The Destiny 2 App is having a lot of delay sending your items form your mobile to your console thru mobile. or sometimes doesn’t even work.

Even DIM is being slow to transfer stuff
-
Probably gonna just stop playing until it's fixed. Aside from Kings Fall until it gets boring this season is just more trash anyway.
-
It’s almost like Bungo relying on their app and third party services to transfer gear instead of having an efficient method in-game is a bad idea. But who cares about quality of life in a game?
-
1 ReplyIt's the same for all 3rd party tools too since I'm sure they share the same API with the official Companion apps. I have posted about this several times this past week. It's VERY annoying when it's faster to fly to the Tower and get stuff from the Vault or pick up bounties.
-
1 ReplyThe fact it’s been over a week and they still haven’t fixed it is shocking. Like we need to be able to reliably transfer gear between characters. It’s a big part of the game.
-
This was a terrible issue during day one. We had the time to do 3 or 4 trys of an encounter to finally get our gear
-
3 RepliesSame, also, the clan browsing feature doesn't work, shows no clans
-
Same here. Been broke for a week
-
3 RepliesAre we referring to Companion or....
-
Yea same here. Also with trying get bounties. Half the time that doesn’t even work lol
-
10 RepliesAre you talking about DIM? If so Bungie doesn’t own or run DIM. So they can’t really do anything about it specifically.

5 RepliesEdited by mja calg: 8/30/2022 11:21:28 PMYa. Bungle could care less how it slows your game down. First, they'd have to have someone look at their servers, and you know, fixing bugs, like making content, is "Hard" for them. And they have 99% of their people working on their new IP's (Matter +), so all Destiny does is fund things. Secondly, it would require more servers, which would mean the Siberian Hamster that run in the Eco Friendly Wheel that powers their Commodore 64 server would be over taxed. Lastly, slowing your game play down means they can book more "Quality" player game play time and then they don't need to make more content, because you're waiting to get weapons so you can play it. Any way you slice it, this is a Win-Win for Bungle and a Lose-Lose for us.

It’s that way for all apps dependent on the Bungie API. That service has been overwhelmed since launch of Season 18. It has nothing to do with the Destiny App.
-
5 RepliesThe api is just slow right now
-
I’ve found it’s easier to transfer 1 item from a character to the vault then from there transfer it to a different character. Still has some delay and error but more consistent.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Astrosa: 8/31/2022 6:39:06 AMThe app took a gun that I didn’t transfer and yeeted it into the vault And didn’t show me where the gun went until I reset the app T_T Almost died on the spot like Lego yoda. It was my most important gun. Adept shayuras wrath with max range, moving target and adrenaline junkie.
-
Bungie has -blam!- up their servers, if you play during off peak times the apps work so much faster.
-
Indeed, they are working on API on D1 however would it effect item App's on d2' I do not know, what say you Bungie.
-
1 ReplySame here, thought it was just my vpn
-
Ok good, I’m not the only one with the issue.
-
It’s bungies servers.
nibbles crayon
-
Nice to know i'm not the only one.
-
They messed something up big time. DIM barely works now
-
Oh good it's not just me. Thought my internet was crap. It does instantly send to the vault though. Soooo you could stand at a vault and send it there but that takes planning.
-
It’s either heavily delayed or just sits in your vault
-
Same on ishtar too
