Cannot authenticate hacked/deleted xbox account from cross save
I am trying to disable cross save due to an xbox/microsoft account that was hacked and then deleted. The account has been deleted for over 60 days so I cannot recover it and I had to wait 90 days before I could authenticate my steam account due to a silver purchase that I made. Is there anyway to have the deleted microsoft account removed from my cross save or is there nothing I can do at this point.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 8/29/2022 10:49:43 PMIf you cannot authenticate to an account, you cannot make changes to Cross-Save or unlink the account. Bungie will not forcefully disable Cross-Save or unlink an account if you cannot authenticate to it. Authentication is part of the security measures in place; you must be able to authenticate to each account in order to disable Cross-Save, just like you did when it was enabled. You must be able to authenticate to an account to unlink it, just like you did when you linked it. You'll need to work with Microsoft to recover the XBL ID. If you cannot do so, then things will remain as they are.
