Exo stranger
Is it ever revealed who the stranger is talking back to when she disappears on Venus or at the beginning of beyond light?

At the end of the Curse of Osiris story campaign, Osiris calls Sagira "little light", a name the Exo Stranger also called our Ghost, suggesting that she was maybe working for him in order to recruit us to prevent the dark future.

1 ReplyI don't think there's ever been anything in the lore about it, but we may get some answers in Lightfall. Saw a thread on Raidsecrets where a guy suggested that its us from the future, and we'll get some sort of scene where she says those lines to us over comms

1 ReplyThat basically never happened. In so far as the retcon goes, she helped us but that’s it. That whole campaign was a mishmash cobbled together out of the og campaign. Which is why she was vague. Exo Stranger went from being Osiris assistant in the og storyline to our main Guide, who was meant to be Crow. You can probably still find one of the older trailers that shows him meeting us in the cosmodrome. Mmoô mk Back then she was traveling between timelines, from her own to ours, to meddle with ours for some unknown reason. When you read the lore cards for her in D1, she doesn’t even know about the Hive. She never saw them in her timeline.

That what we are gonna lose.....The Traveler. It’s only way Destiny ends with resolution. Both The Traveler and The Darkness must be destroyed or this War will go on forever.

8 RepliesI think the most likely explanation is she is talking to Pouka her ghost. However it doesn’t make much sense for her ghost to be so separate from her. Then again didn’t Osiris operate like that with Sagira?

No reveal because they scrapped the storyline along with the original d1 campaign, she was never gonna be in d1 after they scrapped the story but they kept her so they could use the cool mysterious character in the future if they wantedv

3 RepliesI actually think it was revealed it was US, the guardian in the future. Either that or Clovis Bray, or someone from bray tech. One of those option I think.

8 RepliesWell Since now we know her fish is from neomuna i believe she is tied to them and soo i believe she spoke with them on venus when they got attacked with shadow legion.

2 RepliesIt was actually Datamined that it was Osiris she was Talking too. In D1 Files She wasn't know as the Exo stranger, she was a Disciple of Osiris. Pretty much his main Agent.

In the lore for one of the new exotics, the Stranger appears to be conversing with her flying fish friend. Maybe she was just talking to her fish.

No, but last time I asked this, most people suspected Osiris, as the exo Stranger was originally going to be Osiris assistant
