1 ReplyEdited by mayo68: 8/24/2022 10:56:59 AMOnly titan feedback so far… Having thunder crash and shoulder charge is awesome. FOH needs a serious damage buff. Jolt is great with pulse grenades, but now I can only have one at a time compared to top tree striker from before. Speed burst is ok but can seriously fluck with your jump at times. Had a hunter right in front of me as we traveled between engagements, and with speed burst active, I could not pass him.🤷🏼♂️ Traded my skullfort for dunes about 15 minutes in. Better setup for chaining damage. Evade move is ok but I’m sure it has more application in pvp. In pve it’s Blau. With amplify I was expecting a buildup of power as you chain kills with 3.0, but I haven’t noticed much yet. Nutshell…arc 3.0 is a good option for lower level activities, but with higher end content, void and solar is a better option.

2 RepliesLook, i was a arcstrider main before the 3.0 system made me change it. So i am a bit biased. We finally got what was rightfully ours since forsaken: an actually different super. So, i love it.

1 ReplyKept my expectations in check, wasn't disappointed, wasn't overwhelmed, good enough for me New content is new content

3 RepliesNow I wish I could wear Peregrines and a Skullfort.

Edited by ZyloWolfBane: 8/24/2022 9:01:58 AMOnce the novelty wore off, as boring as last season. I dig the theme and all but outside of repeating the season activity for a bunch of weapons I don't like there's not much else to do. PvP and gambit hold no entertainment value for me. At least with lightfall I know not to buy the season pass ahead of time, this current pattern of gameplay just ain't doin it for me. At least arc feels more open for builds than solar did, but not having a classy restoration/devour type mod in the artifact makes it more like you're not really tied down to arc either, so I'm not sure where I really sit with each class or subclass right now.

Edited by ScrubLord199901: 8/24/2022 8:56:29 AMArc 3.0 was fun for about two hours. Then I switched back to void cuz it's better. Solar is better too but also still not as good as void. Should've kept healing on solar ability kills instead of running into a sunspot. Then it would've been just as good as void.

1 ReplyHunter finally got a second arc super so thats cool

It has some fun things, but Titan and Warlock feel like their missing something. Not sure about hunter yet. Titan: - thunderclap is cool in concept but not super practical in practice. In PvP it’s a novelty that while fun is pretty bad. In PvE, it’s damage isn’t worth the wind-up time compared to the other two. They need to buff its damage to higher health targets. Hopefully the exotic can address this… - Thrust feels odd. I can’t be the only one that feels disoriented when I use this. I tend to lose track of my targets. It also has weird interactions with where you can use it compared to hunter dodge. It’s fun in PvP when you pull it off, but it’s not crazy. - FoH still feels terrible in PvE. Warlock: - subclass identity feels pulled in different directions between aspects and the neutral abilities of Arc. - most of the strength relies on you being amped constantly. This is ok for patrols but feels bad when enemies are tankier or when you’re competing w teammates for kills. - Both Supers feel weak in PvE compared to counterparts. - Only 1 new thing total… Arc in total: - I think hunters have the best kit overall, but their kit is even more married to the melee focus than the other classes. - Arc falls off hard in strength in endgame PvE. Melee builds are pretty bad, and both hunter and Titan have large portions of their builds dedicated to melees. - Lack of weapons that can apply debuffs. Last season has a lot of weapons drop with incandescent. This season there are only 3 weapons currently that can drop with the new Voltshot perk: the seasonal Sidearm, Scout, and linear fusion. We might see Defiance of Yasmin later this season with it, but that’s it. - Speed Booster feels underwhelming and disconnected from the rest of the kit. It happens when sprinting while amped, if this gave boosts to certain fragments while active it’d feel more like a part of the arc kit and not just something that happens. - Jolt’s damage seems inconsistent. Sometimes it does great and clears out tons of adds. Sometimes it feels like it does barely any damage or not even activate at all.

20 RepliesThe activities were ok to play once…. Can’t say I’m super excited to play them regularly.. Great they added sbmm for crucible but it badly needs some maps

1 ReplyActivities are fun but feel very drawn out, new exotic is extremely fun to play with and Arc 3.0 in general seems interesting besides it seems little survivability options like Void or Solar 3.0, perhaps this is buildcrafd related and I haven’t found the synergy yet, but if not then it’s kinda bad for endgame.

1 ReplyActivities aren't the greatest, especially Expedition. I do love the new arc 3.0 for hunter. I love the super. I tried blink for a short time and it's just like I remember it. So I went back to triple jump.
