Sure.
If every other grenade gets the same treatment.
Seriously.
People just love to complain about hunters...
Its kind of sad that not a single day has gone by without warlocks or titans making a nerf post.
Seriously...in 4 years...not 1 day without a nerf post from you guys.

I have been saying this since stasis came out, it's not a shatter dive problem it's a crystal break problem
-
Yup. But most of the people here are biased against hunters. Which has been a problem since D1... Which is why it even became a meme.

Edited by PKMN155: 10/1/2021 7:14:46 PMLike titan glacier shatter was just as bad untill they gave it a start up, it became a joke in my friend group of shatter dive was the problem whenever we would get a triple with titan slide
-
They removed the start up this season. Every slide shatters now. Even from a standstill.
-
I thought it was just you break through but don't cause them to do damage
-
No ...they just shatter all crystals same as the dive...but without cooldown on every slide.
-
Hmm I'll have to try it when I get home
-
Also a tip if you have problems with tornadoes. Glacier walls make the tornado turn around if placed between you and it.
-
Might be helpful for pve too, set up a box of them to stay in an area you want
-
Fun fact. Tornado + glacier with aspect boxes in the tornado in the middle

Edited by aye'mJosh: 10/1/2021 6:30:50 PMGlacial grenade and shatter dive are stupid. You have to admit that. Maybe if shatterdive didn’t proc from 3 inches off the ground it wouldn’t be as ridiculous
-
I mean...phoenix dive has procced from any height since day 1 of D2. So why wouldnt shatterdive?
-
Someone used it when they were 2 inches off the ground earlier today….that’s ridiculous. Shoulder charge should be ready after 2 steps….that’s about the same thing
-
Except shoulder charge deals damage and is a melee ability... Shatterdive doesnt do any damage and is a movement ability like phoenix dive or icarus dash.
-
I mean, “technically” it does 50 base damage with falloff doesn’t it?
-
No. That got nerfed like 2 seasons ago. It does 10 damage if you hit on the enemy's head. And 6 if you land next to them. It really seems like everyone just conveniently missed all the nerfs it got .. Like the removal of damage resist that people still think it has.
-
I know it had its damage resist removed, I genuinely missed the reduction in the base damage it could deal.
-
I mean...stasis hunter got like 30-40 nerfs...so its hard to keep tracks..
-
Did you know that for a Titan, all they need is for a super to be frozen to kill them with the slide? If a guardian some how survives the first tick of yellow damage, they don’t immediately break out, so the slide just deals another tick of yellow damage.
-
Yup. No one caring that titan has the more broken version because everyone is just biased against hunters. Litterally if hunters had the warlock instafreeze melee ...all the warlocks and titans would say it is OP. Same as what they did about wormhusk in year 2 even though warlock could also heal thesame way without exotic. And titans too.
-
So all in all, do you believe some part of stasis overall should be nerfed? And if so, which part?
-
Buff hunter shuriken back up to what they did pre nerfs.. Nerf glacier nade.
-
And for glacial nade, in what way would you want it nerfed?
-
I dont want it nerfed since it isnt broken.. But so many people crying about getting outplayed. At this point its just to prove to myself that titans and warlock complain about EVERYTHING on hunter. So i'd say make the crystals deal 0 damage but make them have the same health as a barricade each. And make them freeze anything that comes close to it instantly. AKA a true defensive option.
-
Believe it or not each crystal already has 400 health compared to the 600 of a barricade, so it’s not that far off health wise. As far as nerfing, personally I also think the base damage is technically fine. If you compare it’s base recharge to a light grenade, it’s 70% slower, so in theory it could/should deal 70% more damage, which would make each crystal deal 51. Currently they deal 55, but without an aspect to instantly shatter them, you have to deal 80 damage yourself to a crystal to shatter it.
